Culture Wars General - KiA Diet Coke Edition

It's just obsolete. Everything's dead and gay now. The frontiers of politics are are now in making sure pedophile rapists have safe, convenient access to children.
It hurts because it's true.

Though it is a rare example of an organization built up around a "cause" actually shutting down once its evil goals were achieved, instead of continuing to metastasize into something worse with never-ending mission creep. Must have exhausted all the resources they could squeeze from it. That and countless other cancers have sprung up to supplement (and now replace) it.

FF had nothing to do with the culture wars which is why it's shuttered. It's obsolescent on top of never having done anything.

Just a grift from beginning to end, then?

I can buy that, but I thought they were fairly heavily involved in the "nice game you've got there..." racket Sarkesian was running. Though I suppose that is a grift...

I'm surprised it has survived this long
How were they even earning money?

I haven't heard of this cunt for almost a decade, and she was being lazy and not producing much content even at her peak, when she was getting thousands from her patreon simps

I disagree in part. It had a lot to do with the culture wars, but FF hasn't been a factor on it for a good decade at this point. Even if you want to be generous the last time FF had any sort of "influence" on the culture wars was around early 2016.

Things have gotten so much more retarded since then.

I didn't even know Feminist Frequency was still a thing. Figured they would have shutdown before 2020 at least. I would say it must suck for Anita but she grifted a lot of money and ultimately succeeded in destroying much of the games industry for no reason expect for vanity.

The Culture Wars were always just a distraction from the death of the US economy and the robbing of future generations. It's just like the gladiator games during the Fall of Rome, bread and circus to keep people from worrying about the real issues plaguing America

In the end the boomers sold us all out so they could live their retirements in comfort. Boomers will go down as the most selfish generation who ruined everything for everyone.

When the fighting days are over,
And we’re finished with the fray,
When they draft us back to Dover
To be put on pension pay;
You may think we’ll be in clover
But remember this, my son,
When the fighting days are over,
Then our fight has just begun.

It is hard, there’s no disputing,
Joining up the broken thread,
When we start to seek a footing,
And to earn our daily bread;
When we find we can no longer
Occupy our former place,
And a fellow who is stronger
Canters past us in the race.

Every one who has been through it,
He’ll have many aches and pains,
Though he’ll not entirely rue it,
Since the losses have their gains;
But I pray, though times may alter
And the wheels seem whirling wrong,
That his heart may never falter
Though his legs may limp along.

And the folks who used to fete us,
Beaming on us like the sun,
There’s the chance they may forget us
When the danger days are done:
When there is no longer menace,
And they’ve found some other fad,
There may be more pangs than pennies
For a broken soldier lad.

War was this since the beginning,
While a few made ‘golden gain,’
Others had to pay for winning
Out of poverty and pain.
Ha! They used to talk of glory
In the days we donned the pack,
But it’s all a blooming story
When a lad is limping back.

‘It is rotten,’ you may say it,
But we’ve got it here to stick,
We’re the boys who have to pay it,
And we have to pay it slick.
Then, though others are in clover,
You remember this, my son,
When the fighting days are over,
Then our fight has just begun.

A poem for all the soldiers of the gamegate wars who can now finally lay down their arms to rest and peacefully reintegrate into online society... ;_;7

That's a right pretty bit of doggerel, no lie - though a little optimistic, considering the outcome.

When we look back on the conflict,
won or lost - now, who can tell?
Though our cause never be lauded,
we'll accept that just as well.
Through the streets they parade loudly,
boasting of how many fell,
Yet it is a solemn comfort,
just to say we fought like hell.

They attacked us with their legions,
without number - quite the sight!
They had every advantage,
thinking themselves in the right.
Though the ground beneath us trembled,
and the sky did lose its light,
I was very much emboldened,
when we did not take to flight.

No - we stood just as we ought to,
knowing what we had to lose.
For if they were to triumph,
and then dictate as they choose,
The land which did so raise us,
yet furthermore abused,
and scarcely recognizable,
awash with bleating ewes.

(That's all I have for now, anyway).

You can tell this was years ago because even the realistic art is still a very charitable depiction of a troon by today's standards.

OT: The most shocking part of this to me was that FF still existed in any capacity. I thought it disbanded after the abandoned Kickstarter series, when Johnny Mac went off to do Pop Culture Detective or whatever and Anita started her shitty podcast. Didn't realise she retained the brand.

It clearly did wonders for her metrics.

It's just a little thing, but I can't help but notice just how far away Anita is standing from the troon, compared to the sheboon.

She knows.

She knows.
