What game or game franchise has the worst fanbase?

Zombie survival. Sure you have to deal with normal gmod/tf2 type of sprays, and mass amounts of anime and furry models but otherwise zombie survival servers tend to be pretty okay real human being wise.

Every fandom has some unbearable idiots and wackjobs, but the Undertale/Deltarune fandom is 100% just horrible people in general.

Never seen someone from that fandom that was normal, sure not everyone is in the same cesspit of awfulness but nobody there is normal, nobody just a guy who likes the game and that's all, everybody is some random flavor of gender nutjob straight out of tumblr.

There was a video that perfectly encapsulates this, showing tobyfox wishes that people will just play Undertale and that's it (or something like that) followed by the most horrible series of fanart you can imagine, and this was when the game was still relatively new, the insanity has only snowballed since then.

My thoughts exactly, it's also no wonder that they are not treated well by the creators of the franchise they are fans of. Many of them are just walking, talking wallets, but by no means am I defending creators because they and their owners/investors etc. are just as bad as their bitchmade fans, they deserve each other.

I was wise enough to clock out of the fanbase when Xenoblade 2 came out, they have seemingly started to infect the Xenosaga and Xenogears fanbase now more recently. Xenoblade X seems mostly unaffected by virtue of being the most niche. All I've seen is them spewing retarded claims that some youtuber said (and got wrong) about Xenosaga as if its fact, and a bunch of gay tranny shit about A in the 3 DLC (because Jungian Anima Animus split is instead nonbinary troon apparently).

The blame for that can be pinned squarely on MatPat. Pretty sure Pope Francis doesn't care in the slightest and I'd even go so far as to say playing Megalovania at a Wednesday audience is probably the most benign thing anyone's done. At the end of the day, it's cringey but overall harmless.

Persona or Xenoblade, full of rabid, rancid coomers and troons

Xenoblade fans are some of the most paper thin-skinned fans I've ever seen. Them clutching pearls over Dunkey appearing in a Nintendo Direct was some of the funniest yet saddest shit I've seen in recent memory. Still, you even so much as say anything remotely negative or neutral about the Xenoblade series they go absolutely feral. Also, Xenosaga is the better series anyways.

ETA: Also, Last of Us fans are obnoxious, thinking that it's the first and only game that is a "2deep4u serious" thing that somehow elevates them above the plebs. Clearly, they have no clue of good taste because they don't even know far superior story-based games like Legacy of Kain have existed and outclass TLoU in every possible way.

It has unlimited continues. That immediately makes it easier than 90% of the games I played as a child.

I think the Zelda fandom pisses me off the most. The amount of autism towards the lore and backstories of those games is ridiculous. Trying to read any discussion about a Zelda game inevitably ends up being about timelines and lore shit and bunch of other gay shit I don't give the slightest fuck about. Just the sheer autism displayed by zeldafags when they go off about their lore shit is too much to handle.
