Nick always portrayed himself as the magnanimous big time streamer who wouls help out the 'little guy' with advice and exposure on his show. He would also tweet if they were suspended.
To noseguard a little bit, there was a time not so long ago that Nick used to say on air that he'd go on anyone's show that asked him if it fit into his schedule.
And for a time, there was a lot more reciprocity with Nick being a guest on many different platforms while being better at keeping to his own streaming schedule without resorting to "muh kids" excuses weekly.
I was introduced to one of the podcasts I still listen to, Broken Crown, a monarchist stream with Aydin Paladin and Spoon, last year only because Nick appeared as a guest. They still only have a few thousand YT subs and their livestreams get <150 live viewers, probably even less at the time. But Nick honoured their guest request. They still haven't clued into the "new" Balldo coomer Nick though, as they still comment in passing "we should ask Rekieta about that" anytime a legal quandary comes up.
Not necessarily small streamers, but Nick used to appear fairly regularly on Chrissie Mayr's Simpcast. I recall appearances on EFAP, TUG, Flashcast, Friday Night Tights, Eric Hunley's Legal Lunch, Viva, etc. He also did crossovers last year with The Quartering to help him promote his dropshipping coffee company. Then there were his more recent forays with even bigger shows like Alex Jones and Crowder.
There was a time, much like the freeze peach stuff, that Nick was a frequent guest on other people's shows, big and small (mostly big TBF), but backed up his "I'll talk to anybody" principles by making time to guest pro bono for others.
But I do agree that the old mirthful Nick is dead.
Somehow he used to be able to guest on other shows multiple times a week while streaming nightly when he then also possessed the same 5 children that are apparently suddenly so burdensome and all-consuming today.
