I agree it's a little cringey but tbh she still looks great. I know her pictures are heavily edited but even in recent Getty images she still looks youthful for her age so she can still get away with these looks, for now.

I get what you're saying though. It's weird when you see someone desperately trying to hold on to their youth and dressing like a teenager when they're clearly much older. That said, it really only comes across as cringe and pathetic if they hate themselves and lack confidence. Like I've seen some older women wear really revealing or technically "young" clothes but it's not cringey because they aren't trying to pretend they're younger than they really are. They know they're old, they just like the clothes.

I think a great example of this is Dolly Parton. If she was scared of aging, insecure about herself, and came off as desperate, etc., then her outfits, makeup, and hair would make everyone cringe. Let's be honest, she looks incredibly botched and plastic, her boobs are comically huge, her wig looks silly and messy, etc. She looks about the same as Madonna in terms of plastic surgery. But, since she's so down to earth and clearly happy with who she is, everyone loves her and finds her looks charming. Madonna wouldn't get made fun of if she had taken the same route as Dolly.

What's funny to me is it seems Kate's daughter seems to have gone in the opposite direction due to her Mother's antics.

With her Jigsaw-looking face and alleged overdose, Madonna should've known when to give up. I'm honestly shocked that two of her age and career contemporaries, Michael Jackson and Prince both died while she continues surviving it all. This bitch could've retired like 20 years ago and coasted on being a "legend" with a string of hits. Her impact has inspired many contemporary singers, and it's easy to forget just how big she was at her peak. But her ego and insecurities had to keep on going. Perhaps it was expected that a pop star desperate for fame would do anything to appeal to the young, 'cool' kids, but in a perfect world, she wouldn't be this:

I assume it won't be too long because she dies of an overdose or plastic surgery gone wrong. And her Jigsaw cosplay and fall from grace will likely overshadow her achievements and decent looks in her youth:

Just wanted to say, his wife and or her siblings were supposedly monsters as children, and abused their nannies. IDK if she's changed since then, and this is expected for the child of a billionaire, but still.

I think one of the nannies came out years later to claim that it was all gossip, but part of me wonders if she or the family were paid a good settlement.

Slight PL here, years ago I was distantly acquainted with the Peltz family years ago. Nelson (the dad) is charming and a bit eccentric, fairly normal personality for a rich Florida Jewish man. The wife is an icy monster, though. The kids are all indolent fuck-ups. They graduated their private schools with honors despite never attending and were coked out of their minds most of the time. One of the sons (Brad, I want to say) larped as a hockey player and Nelson bought him a position on the Ottawa Senators for a season when the Senators were courting Nelson as a buyer.

He seems to be giving a lot of credit to face lift settling and not nearly enough to heavy stage make-up, lighting and filters.

One of the weirdest things about some celebrities (at all levels) in LA was how weird they looked in every day life. They really go get surgery to look best under stage/ studio lighting conditions. So on studio/set/stage they look pretty good, but in daylight it’s frightening. Sort of like seeing a Broadway actor or Opera singer walking around in full stage make-up after a show, only it’s their permanent face.

It is interesting to see stars go out and looking extra weird due to recent plastic surgery. I guess once all the bruising and gore go away they get cabin fever. Tom Cruise also went out looking like a chipmunk a few years ago. What I hate is how they still will bold face deny getting plastic surgery when they are such obvious slaves to it.
