Sure, we will forget about him and so will most normal people.
But these streamers dominate a completely different side of the lowercase i internet so I don't fault you for underestimating how fanatic his followers are.
He streams like 6 hours a day and averages 60k viewers consistently.
He's already had 300k+ viewer streams so if he went to jail for a few months, his comebackstream would easily have multiple hundred thousand viewers.
Even if he doesn't go to jail I gurantee his next stream will have more than 300k viewers.
And you greatly underestimate how much money these streamers make lmao, excluding donations, ad revenue and sponsors he already makes nearly 200k a month so unless his fans caused damage in the realms of high 7 digits to 8 digits he'll be fine

The conundrum is self-made with these streamers like Hasan or xQc. They stream for so many hours a day that they have to fill in the excess time with something and therefore they watch this content, but they don't need the ad money that's allegedly taken from those videos. However, the obvious solution based on this information seems to be that if they don't need that money then they should scale back the amount that they stream anyways. That way then they wouldn't need to fill up so much time and won't be earning all that money they brag about not even needing.

They could scale back their streaming to bring it in proportion to how much they can actually entertain a livestream or they could accept that because livestreaming is "garbage content" according to xQc they don't even need to watch other content because it'll still be garbage even if they do so.

Oh right, all their arguments are lies and the truth is they're lazy and greedy and exploitative. That's why they have to bicker about whether or not it benefits the content creators they're reacting towards. How silly.
