It ain't a jontron upload without coinciding with a tragedy
Hey, Jon said he planned this video five months ago before the implosion heard round the world. If you can't trust him, whom can you trust?

I agree with Jon, that dude giving the interview really seemed to want to trash the guy.
I looked through the comments on the video, and it seems like people in Australia really hate this guy because of the way he treats his employees. It's similar to why people hate Jeff Bezos for making Amazon workers piss in bottles. Wouldn't you be rude to Jeff Bezos if you got the chance?

More new Jontron.
Well that was quick. Fuck Raid but that skin is sweet.

Loved the demonstration of the final moments of Titan. I did enjoy the episode but outside of calling out the reporter for being a cunt, none of the jokes are coming to the forefront right now, so a bit of a mid episode I guess.

Seeing how journalists are boot licking faggots and what I learned with Trump. I can only assume the guy got shit on for being on the wrong side of the political spectrum and possibly having shitty practices never came into it.

Video does make me notice how much things have fallen. I mean, the titanic was built in 3 years more than 100 years ago, yet building it today is considered an imposibility. Why? Difference in safety standards? Materials being a lot more expensive? No more open child labor? How was it possible then and impossible now?
Not much of a business incentive to do so these days I guess. It would cost tons and tons of money to make an exact replica and there isn't much you can do with a full recreation of the Titanic to make the cash you spent on it back besides make it some kind of interactive museum or experience which is a big gamble and also would cause a flurry of "profiting off of a tragedy" articles and PR most people that aren't entirely unethical businessmen would want to avoid (ignore the fact Titanic the movie basically did this as well effectively). If you wanted to make it seaworthy there would be a huge discussion over if it should use coal or not like the original did. There is also the whole issue of modern shipbuilding regulations.

Remaking it wouldn't be all that difficult technically but there are tons of barriers in the form of social and economic factors that exist around it in 2023 that didn't in 1911.

Is it explained, somewhere in this thread, why JonTron got a lot of hate? I heard the name maybe a couple decades back and then started to hear drama llama BS. What was the story of that?

For a big lad, he has an infectious energy in his videos.
He did a political debate with Destiny and said something that people consider to be racist.
