I'm guessing Chris has been on a tight-Leash test release,
and this will rubber stamp his reintroduction to society.
He was probably under therapeutic supervision regularly since he got into the tard-home, my guess is that the report and diagnoses of the mental health professional will influence under which conditions he will get released.

I'm saying he has a child's view of it. Children know right and wrong based off what an authority figure, usually their parents, teachers, and church leaders, tell them it is. Its a shallow understanding of the concept that can be rationalized away by misguided or corrupted minds, and Chris has definitely been misguided and corrupted.
Sorry, homie, but you'll never convince me that the journey between "autist trolled by the internet" and "raped my mother" doesn't involve Chris being an objectively terrible person absent any outside influence.

This feels....almost surreal.

I've been following the story of this fat autistic retard from day one watching it spiral further and further into complete absurdity until it all got real dark real fast but it was still fascinating just in a far more morbid sense.

And now here we are. The end of the era. The final judgement of the Motherfucking Teflon Tard. No more continuances. It's finally here.

Whatever comes next this has been one fascinating journey.
I remember sitting in my university's cafeteria watching the classic Chris sagas unfold in real time on my laptop 15 years ago. Back when Chris was some buffoon yelling into his PS Eye camera about Clyde Cash and the trolls. Never thought this story would culminate in this, nor did I think it would have gone on for as long as it has. I'm more invested in this court verdict than I was when OJ was on trial!

The whole situation with Chris has had me wondering what would actually be justice here?

How much of Chris's faults are his direct responsibility? It's easy for us to look at him and say "he should have learned" and/or "he knows what he's doing" but can we be sure of that? I think not.

What we can be sure of is that he was not given adequate care by his parents, who saw his innate mental condition as something shameful that must be concealed rather than an immutable fact that demands to be taken seriously. I would go as far as to say their treatment of Chris constitutes neglect if not outright abuse.

I've given this quite a bit of thought, more than it probably deserves, and a clear answer has proven elusive. What do y'all think? What is the just outcome in your eyes?
I think Chris spent enough time in jail to realize what he did, and I'd like to see Chris get a chance at life without his parents' influence.

Nobody knows how culpable Barb was in their sexual deviancy, or how much other fucked up shit happened. Of course, Chris realizes it was wrong, but does he fully grasp why it was wrong beyond it's what society tells him. I honestly don't think he does with his cheerful attitude through everything that happened.

It would be a lot easier for me if Chris did something so heinous to anyone else. Then throw the book at him and let him rot in the streets. I don't know if Chris is capable of doing similar things to other random people, which is a really tricky situation. There was the Snyder incident, but even with that he had Barb defending him the entire time.

This is it. No more continuances. It ends now.
This likely means that an agreed (between prosecution and defense) proposed disposition (order) has been submitted to the Court, and once the Court reviews it and doesn't find any massive flaws (they likely won't; it's very possibly been previewed with the judge already), the order will be entered. Unlikely it would be rejected.

Since Chris was released from jail months ago to whatever facility he has been in, it's unlikely he'd be sent to jail/prison at this point. Which was the point of the deferral.

Also, it's been 2 years since his arrest and incarceration/release to a facility; that's within the range of jail time for a conviction for this crime for anyone, per VA law. So jail highly highly highly unlikely.

I'd expect something between full release/probation/conditions and continuing in the facility where he is or one similar or a bit less restrictive. I hope more likely the latter.

Personally, I'd love to see him permanently or at least long-term in the facility/under the restrictions he has been under the last several months. Not as punishment; again, he's been in jail/restricted for an amount of time in excess of the minimum for a guilty verdict on the initial charges. I'd like to see him there because it is a benefit for him and what he needs. Take out the motherfucking (vom), and the only way he was able previously to live "independently" was because he had a parent/guardian supposedly taking care of him. That's gone, so if there is a place for him in care (via Medicaid/with his SSI or SSDI, whichever it was) going toward that care, then that's the best place for him. Maybe there's a philosophy in VA or need (budgetary) to push him out to independent or quasi-independent life, but if not, he needs supervision.

this will be interesting thats for sure. i am guessing they will use his time and behavior out of jail to decide what to do with him. that would explain why he has not just made another twitter account or anything of the sort as part of his release conditions must have been that he is not online.

he is obviously allowed to roam without someone holding his hand the whole time as long as he returns to the group home or wherever he is staying which gives me the feeling that once the case is settled he will be fully free to do whatever he wants.

i do wonder if he will be banned outright from ever going near barb again as long as shes still alive or if they will allow it under super vision.

Was there ever proof of this? It'd be nice to know that they did something about the fungus problem.
Zoe announced it
Plus she drove back to New Mexico in the middle of the semester and spent all of her time at her daddy's house in Santa Fe, who does that in the middle of a semester?

Speaking of ILJ, her suspension will end this November which is only 2 to 3 months away. She has shown herself to be as retarded and unteachable as chris chan so I'm fairly certain that the first thing that she does when she goes back to Lubbock is to open a new chess club discord

I think Chris spent enough time in jail to realize what he did
I think at the very best Chris may have realized what he did is wrong but in his head it's on par with watching cartoons past your bedtime or watching an R rated movie and telling your parents it's PG-13. He might think he's a mischievous naughty boy, but that's it.

I can’t wait for the moment that he just révéals that he didn’t really rape her and Chris chan has all been one Great big troll from the very beginning to create the worlds first lolcow and troll the internet and everyone for years. Barb will come in perfectly healthy and Chris will be awarded tons of money and become a regional celebrity for being the greatest and most successful internet troll in history. He’ll get money, his own talk show, tons of girls and live happily ever after with the woman of his choosing.

I agree with those of you saying he will likely walk free or just formally be sent to a group home (instead of the quasi-official placement we see now). There's no way he's getting any genuine time for what he did, if there was a chance of that he wouldn't be walking around at Walmart these days. It'll be a slap on the wrist or nothing at all.
