I think this is an adequate punishment.

1.5 years without a computer/toys isn't an adequate punishment for raping one's elderly mother.
I agree that he should have been institutionalized a long time ago, but he may not be. 1.5 years in jail and then being set free is the outcome I have a problem with. You're being too soft on him.

Sorry, homie, but you'll never convince me that the journey between "autist trolled by the internet" and "raped my mother" doesn't involve Chris being an objectively terrible person absent any outside influence.

Chris is the nightmare manchild combination of smothered and spoiled yet somehow neglected to shit, while also being high functioning autistic to the point of retardation, and then exposed to all of the failures and travesties of the public education system and modern day horseplay fuckery (ie "YOU GOTTA LOSE YOUR VIRGINITY" fratboy fuckery). I still do not know one big thing about this whole ordeal: was the relationship consensual or not? Cause if it was not, then it's not incest, it's rape. The judicial system failed miserably then.
In the case it was consensual.... then I believe the "incest" charge was duly unconstitutional, and I don't know why didn't Lawrence v Texas strike down consensual incest bans too.

I believe it was the former and I'd like to see the reasoning of why incest and not rape.

Don't get me wrong, I totally and completely agree with you. I honestly have a hard time believing she didn't have something to do with it, given like everything else about her was true. She is fucking disgusting, and I would bet my life that she has done more.
