Musk's intended new Twitter homepage, x.com, got blocked in Indonesia in 2022 due to a failure to register with the government under a 2020 regulation aimed at curbing "negative content" on the internet.

Flash forward to 2023. Musk announces his rebranding - and it turns out x.com still can't be accessed from within Indonesia.

Note: Claims of x.com having been used for porn and gambling in the past (made by the Indonesian version of Roskomnadzor) are bullshit.

The earliest use of the site I could find on archive.org was in 1998 as a personal page for some guy called Dave and his friends (and it didn't show them fucking).

Soon after this it got taken over by Musk for his payment processor.

This is the worst rebrand ever. You'd think they'd take the time to prepare for a rebrand and roll it our seamlessly. It's not like billionaire tech genius Elon is just flying by the seat of his pants making impulsive decision after impulsive decision....right?

It was obvious from the start the Zucc is the real alpha male out of the two. I'm guessing Elon is internally mortified to fight, for a number of reasons.
