One thing I've come to a conclusion on, just based on reading this thread a bunch. Is it really wise to shit on the Truscum people? Or gender critical trannies? People that know they're mentally ill, basically. I feel like the more people attack, the more it pushes them towards the crazier trannies. They're still batshit but the kind of batshit that's at least somewhat aware. Or am I over thinking it?

Overthinking it. It's another ploy and it has to do with which "type" of the opposite sex they imagine themselves being. I may not have been on this planet for very long, but I don't think I have ever heard anybody say that outside of a shitty book or a shitty movie. Most guys just use "the look," right? But I guess women wouldn't get that so it has to be spelled out for them.

Its larping all the way down isnt it? Even gender dysphoria itself is just a subconscious awareness of the dissonance between their idealized self, and the picture others form of them in their minds(which they can't even know, but can certainly guess at with some accuracy).

The internet is a disaster zone for these people because it allows them to roleplay their idealized self 24/7 with little or no pushback; worst case scenario 90% of the time is that they don't get the likes/amount of positive responses they were looking for. The other 10% of interactions, which could be categorized as genuinely negative, have their own little contingency plans; either de-escalate(ban/block), de-legitamize(evil nazi, right winger, fundamentalist, etc), or retreat( recede into the porn caked discord server kitten, retreat to the goon cave my fellow pooners). This little unspoken, but clealry undeniable, apparatus works to gaslight them into believing their real selves are the characters they play online, to the point that the online persona transcends to the real world in the most uncanny ways.

The "gender critical" troons are, like you said, still just playing a character they've contrived in their minds. One has to wonder if they're actually any closer to escaping the little hell they've created, or if they're just another layer of cope into the delusion. It might just be another form of masturbation, because that's all their lives are; masturbate to gender affirming porn, masturbate in the form of affirming feedback from other troons, masturbate by consuming tranny positive media, masturbate by daydreaming about your idealized self, mastrubate to the mental image of your idealized self, and on and on.

What gets me (among other things) is that most refer to themselves as "Trans-[insert gender here]" and fewer, if not rarely, say they're their pretend preferred gender and then use dysphoria to avoid regret and/or shame. I've heard actual dysphoria is as if the mind is rejecting the body, causing the person to self harm and/or commit suicide almost right off the bat. This is here-say so if someone else has better knowledge please elaborate.

It's like that gluten-free craze around mid-2010s when every hipster avoided gluten because they thought it'd kill them while those who actually had celiac got roped in with them.

I think that's what it boils down to; nowadays ppl dont really have too much to complain about so they need to invent something up. Something to help them feel like a victim. White guilt and male guilt are big ones especially, so they now feel like they have to avoid stigmas that they had no part in. They're just kids that want to fit in, and the more "special", "unique" or "disabled" the better.

I feel bad for the ones who actually want to seek help, desperately wanting to live a normal life. Then they see they're affiliated with sex pests; sex offenders and chomos, going after anyone regardless of who they are or their age to indoctrinate them into this cult.
