All Wu's choices are problematic.

1. Ulala dresses too sexy, subjecting her to oppressive male gaze
2. There's a scene where Lara gets felt up by an oppressive white man
3. The female knights have boob armor
4. A glaring lack of black women
5. Quistis is the tired "sexy librarian" trope
6. Hero is a straight white male, and contains a homophobic joke
7. A glaring lack of transwoman characters

Why are all your choices so sexist, racist, homophobic, and transphobic, Wu?

I think they are saying that Wu is too shitty to beat pay-to-win, ergo too shitty to beat a hard game like FFT.

Also, FFT is pretty easy if you play like a bitch aside from a few levels that are actually hard without grinding (the early level with the archers in the slums, and the execution come to mind). Bitch here being defined as using Agrias, Gafgarion (or the playable class in War of the Lions that has his moves), and/or Orlandu and the rest of your party is Samurai or Calculators.

I know they completely dropped the ball on the story, but the gameplay wasn't that bad, even if it was different.

But god is it something I can clearly imagine Wu playing- to be honest, the Parasite Eve games are something I can really imagine Wu sperging about.

He even prefers the shittiest of the Mass Effect games, ME2 having worse game play than ME3 overall and even ME1 in some ways, and its story as part of the trilogy is a perfect example of "second act problems. " But it had much better graphics than ME1 and lots of lens flare and scantily clad women, so of course it is his favorite.

Sometimes I forget that Wu actually has no concept of reality.

How many planets can you visit in No Man's Sky Wu? 18 quintillion Wu, how long do you think it would take a team of artists to design that many planets?

Speaking of which how many planets can you visit in Rev 60 Wu? And how long has that taken to port (let alone make) compared to how long it has taken to make No Man's Sky?

This is just one more instance of Wu completely dropping the ball.
He pretends he's this juggernaughtical expert on tech stuff, yet badmouths this game for being procedurally generated.
If he wanted to gather some tech-expert cred, he might talk about that. haven't looked too deep into No Man's Sky, but it seemed to me that the planets and creatures look very different from one another, so rather than bemoaning the fact that the planets aren't handcrafted, I'd assume a self-professed expert on game developement and tech-shenanigans would be rather talking about how impressive the procedural generation is.

Geez, it's almost as if John has only a poor and shallow grasp on gamedesign and no technical expertise at all.

While we're at it. Paintskills >9000

and again putting as much effort into editing an image of BriBri as he's putting into Rev60.

Do you know that the Yautja are a proud and noble alien species? They have to constantly fight against the seterotype that they are just a bunch of bloodthirsty space savages. They are a culture that has spanned light years and millennia and have only tried to find the best in all the other cultures and races they come across. They have even been pivotal in the development of the human race. Why, if it wasn't for them, we might still be banging rocks together.

And to just paste an image of them upon a person who is the exact opposite of their proud culture? A person who looks for cheap opportunities instead of challenges?

Wu has said in the past she used FFT as the basis for the first try at Revolution 60, but decided a visual novel would be better, most likely because they had no idea how to make a game like that.
