Feedback Technical Grievances

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Avatars not cached are suddenly broken for me. When I try opening the image in a new tab, it's a URL starting with https://data/avatars/, which is naturally invalid. I got this in different web browsers.

ETA: Problem affects clearnet only, not Tor.

ETA 2: Hm, more problems with clearnet. Reply box is gone, other images not loading either.

Just here on Tor temporarily to parrot experiencing the same issues as @WhiteNight . Refreshing the cache doesn't do anything for problems as described above.

The issue is that uploads.kiwifarms.pl is broken on IPv6.

@Null, might be an idea to remove the AAAA record until you figure out what the problem is

Can confirm images are steadily working again and reply box is back on clearnet. Just need to do a lot of cache refreshing...

Just got logged out from .pl on the desktop and now when trying to log back in, it throws an error "Cookies need to be enabled", despite having them enabled. Cleared cookies, cache, etc but login keeps ending up ded

clearnet seems to be acting up. sometimes pages just stop loading or only load half way and the reply box and the ability to quote posts is missing. images were not loading earlier but that seems to be fixing itself slowly and i am not on mobile if that matters.

Reactions: Positron
i am not on mobile if that matters.
The mobile thing may have been a red herring. Mobile users are more likely to be on IPv6, which was what was having problems.

Images seem to be fixed now, but your browser may have cached past failed images.

I'm still getting frequent incomplete loads and failed connections. Could be more TDDoSing.

Having same issues on clearnet using mobile Chrome on iOS. I can post in some threads but not in others (the attach files option loads but not the text box). Many images within threads still busted. Only reaction option is a thumbs-up like.

I know you shoulder a ton of bullshit just to keep this place online so I’m not complaining for the sake of it. Just giving site feedback and hope it helps.

Possible DDoS? Pages loading very slowly on Brave desktop. Occasional grey "cannot connect" screen.
