That was a survey from trannies self-admitting that they claim they have attempted to kill themselves. I mean that's kinda what makes the 41% meme funnier. It's one of those multifaceted yet simple survey reference memes. It's been kinda distorted in a sense by people using it that don't remember or don't know the original reference. Hell, even I forgot the original reference for a while with all the shit thats been going on the last several years. In terms of meaning distortions, you can't do much with it. It's not like the distortion surrounding "woke" which was a sarcastic subversion usage of slang dating back to like the 70s about being aware of malicious manipulation attempts from authority figures that's now being treated like the sarcastic term was always the term and it's only tied to race/gender hustling shit. Kind of makes "41%" all the more special in a way.
I fucking hated clowns as a small kid, not scared of them I just had a visceral violent hate type reaction to their smug aura and couldn't stand to look at them half the time. Ironically the exceptions I made were for the horror/parody clowns Like tim curry's pennywise and the various jokers. I remember back then finding out there were "clown unions"and shit that took extreme offense to those characters existing and it made me just fucking hate them more. A notable genuine clown I had on my "actually cool clowns" list was the one fucker they had for a while with the peewee herman getup as the mascot of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus during like the early 2000s. Maybe it was just the suit and tie but the bastard had that "rizz" shit people go on about these days that made him immune from my "total clown death" mindset. Ronald Mcdonald also technically fits in the "true clown I didn't want dead" category because he seemed like a guy you could chill with.
