Trve Zoomer atmospheric BM, one of the few of it's kind. Is there any other BM from Zoomers? Seems like they only care for core and grind.
I like this.jpg

(Këkht Aräkh is peak zoomer BM. Also all those Grausamkeit knockoffs they got over on bandcamp)

Without powerleveling too much, my first band (thrash) Opened for them around 2010. Cool dudes smoked weed and drank with them in the parking lot. Before that we partied with them in some town near Boston, MA. I've followed them since MySpace days it's crazy to see how much they blew up since then.
Can now confirm the Havok dudes are total bros. They all mingled with the crowd near the bar and merch booth after the show I went to and all were quite gracious. Told Nick (the bassist) "My neck is fucking broken man, great set," and the way he laughed had me buzzing like a teenage fanboy.

Also the kids from Hammerhedd seemed reverse starstruck. Like they were intimidated by us. I hope good things continue to happen for them.

Creep Purple Records have started a huge Black Magick SS merch attack. Lots of new stuff and some old stuff is in stock again. Patches, shirts, a longsleeve, a hoodie, a poster print ...

The new album is available in all formats again (cd/lp/tape).

Represses of older records in the works.

I think black metal just has a kind of nativist, folk quality that can be applicable to anywhere. What’s interesting is how different countries are able to put their own slant on the sound. You can feel the difference between something like Goatmoon and a Malaysian band.

There’s a band called ‘Majestic East’ who did a tape called Exorcism Corpse, way too rare to get a physical copy but I still look from time to time. I’m also trying to track a release by a Malaysian band called Penanggals, only one track of it on YouTube.
That part of the world is pretty underrated when it comes to Metal. They even have Islamic Black Metal bands which is pretty cool.
