That TF2 stream was, wow. Probably one of the biggest grift streams I've ever seen them do. Why did I not care about this nowhere near as much as I would've 6 years ago when Jerma last returned to TF2?? It's like I knew it was going to be this trannyop autism fest. It was so bad watching Jerma play the game, I get it's been awhile but the amount of times he was flaming his teammates because he's paranoid of that one spy was astonishing.

Avoid most of his collaborations. Anything recent with STER seems to be pure cancer. He's gotten worse but most his solo stuff does not even approach the cringe felt here. Though it does happen.

I only got into Jerma a bit before he went fully into streaming and well after he did much with Ster. I recall them being not nearly as bad way back when. The forced "ironic homosexuality" thing is a modern internet culture phenomena; they know their audience, unfortunately.

I think my favorite thing about Star is that there used to be this unofficial Jerma/Star archive channel on Youtube. But people got so sick of Star's content in their feed when they wanted Jerma's that they told the channel owner to split it into two. The view count difference was huge. If I remember right, the owner was reluctant at first, I guess he liked Star, but ended up splitting it, with Jerma going "You have my blessing. If you wanna run ads and make money, that's fine," and Star going "I don't really care..."

I think it's more around 2, then. Clips on YT about jerma having a new GF are from around January 2022, and they were together for a bit before that. The breakup with Kim was announced in September 2020. If they are legally married they haven't announced it.

I don't have any specific information on jerma's discord. I've never been there. Holly was a prominent figure in that community before it was announced that she was with him. Apparently she did a lot of art work for grotto beasts. Presumably, that means they were in more direct contact than a fangirl type of situation as early as Q1 2021. But IDK for sure.

So a little while later and I've watched not many of his streams but they've just been boring. Mixed with a shit chat it's fairly unwatchable, nothing funny happens anymore so it's not worth watching for me. I know not every stream was funny in the past but it would be like half of the games he would play would have some kind of interest if they were trash or kinect or whatever but generic indie games are kinda boring to me. It also sucks when he does end up playing a trash game his chat cries for 30 minutes until he changes game to a generic chat pleaser that I have no interest in watching. That's if he even streams, he goes on week long or even month long "breaks" where he just lies to the chat about when he's going to stream because deep down he doesn't care about his impersonal freak community.

I also noticed how chat pretty much demand facecam for every stream and then when he does it they talk like they've just got their heroin injection for the day. He's clearly going to retire in a year or so and fair play it's just I'd rather he retired a couple years ago when things weren't as bad and the best thing we've seen since is some amateur events that weren't that interesting for me.

and now 2 months later he's said he's slowing down and has said several times that it has nothing to do with offbrand so his fans don't get upset when we know it probably is. He should just say fuck it to his shit chat and go for it in a more professional world so it's a good move for him.
Work a proper job that he's clearly enjoying instead of the soulless sponsored streams and do events now and then if that's the other things he enjoys.
