The bald Melon caught the cough:
Summary:
-Never got COVID til now bc of vaccinating, boosting and masking
-He thought he would eventually get it
-Caught it from a personal associate with no typical symptoms
-Didn't get it at a show or grocery store where he usually wears a mask
-2 days of sniffing and postal nasal drip then escalated into 2 days of body aches, fatigue, fever, hot and cold sweats, lessened sense of smell and taste and start of a cough, he tested positive after those 2 days
-2 days later he was negative but still has a lingering cough but not feeling fatigue anymore and can lift and workout normally but talking a lot makes him cough. No noticeable lack of exercise capacity, focus or energy. Heavy breathing, talking or very cold drinks can trigger a coughing fit still.
-Covid sucks, wear a mask, don't go near people if you feel really shitty, get boosted if you can.
-Not the sickest he's ever been but you should do your best to protect people who are immunocompromised by "not spreading this thing around too much"
-Covid is still hospitalizing people
-Affecting our musicians because covid infections are not covered under their tour insurance. Example: Metallica. Wear a mask at shows so you can still enjoy your favourite artists
-Can't imagine having to tour every night with covid.
-People don't pay attention to covid anymore bc covid can't "pick a lane" aka it mutates and symptoms change
-It's weaker now than the original Wuhan variant
-Rates it a light 2/10
-Do your best to make sensible decisions in this current situation as covid ramps up this fall
-Love ya
