Screenwave- I mean "James" has made a Rex Viper channel and posted his live concert from 2023 in full
Album coming soon too

In other news heres a parody of the Rex viper's shitty music videos I made :o
My guess as to why he's setting up another channel is that Screen Wave had a 'come to Jesus' moment with James and told him that no one wants Rex Viper and it's poison for the channel. And James was like "Okay, I'll just make my own channel and then we'll see what the people think of Rex Viper!"

It's going to be brutal. Grab the popcorn.

That video is the most passionate i've seen james in a long while

Makes sense when you assume Rex Viper is James' form of therapy and doesn't have to be good. What guy didn't daydream at least once about being a rockstar? According to people who know him irl Rex Viper is the only thing he is passionate about nowadays.

If he loves rock covers of videogame themes then somebody tell him about Vomitron.

At this rate, Bimmy's gonna have to retire AVGN in favor of his terrible Rex Viper band. And still, there is no way he's going to throw a Hail Mary and have his "talent" improve.

I haven't even watched the latest video yet, but this thumbnail... :story: dude, just shave it all off.

Wait, he reviewed a Boy and His Blob? He covered that one once on a Wishlist episode and said the game was good but had some quirks and relied on trial and error. It makes no sense to cover it again.

James cheap out on everything he makes.

His film looks like shit because he only hired the bottom-of-the-barrel crew and loaned terrible equipment. The color correction is so amateur that I don't think they even hired a colorist for the film.

He left AVGN to Screenwave who are a bunch of idiots. Idiots who charge very few for their work, so James doesn't care.

And now for Rex Viper, we get the terrible mixing and recording. This album will sound bad, mark my words. Recording high-quality music demands time (lol) and lots of money. Some of the best albums of all time cost millions of dollars. James is lucky, though. Nowadays music gear is primarily digital and reasonably cheap, But James will still hire an idiot kid who torrented FL Studio yesterday to do the job.

I know its been discussed before but its really annoying how James really has to force his anger in his reviews. Like Doug Walker definitely does better videos nowadays which is shocking, but at least Doug can vary with how he reviews something than doing the same song and dance modern avgn does.

James hasn't put out an actual good AVGN episode since Ikari Warriors ten years ago. When the Toxic Crusaders episode came out I was shocked how bad it was, not that there hadn't been bad episodes of AVGN before that, but there was nothing as bad as Toxic Crusaders. From then on every episode has felt like pointless trash. I think Game Boy Accessories and Tiger electronics were decent but not near as good as anything pre Toxic Crusaders.
