Zak has scored another win, this time against Cameron Banks, the creative director of the Cortex RPG system, for talking shit about him on Twitter.

Zak Smith is a mong coomer, another lefty who got to experience the tolerance of his own politics when he was excommunicated.
But the people going after him were much, much worse. So another good day.

Yeah, Smith sued an ex because she talked shit about him online and won, but if you look at the court documents the judge ruled that he won solely from one of the things she said, that he'd forced her to move in with him. All of the other things she said, that he'd threatened to evict her if she didn't fuck him, that he tried to get her to fuck his friends, that he didn't stop banging in the middle of sex if she told him he was hurting her, the court upheld that those statements were factual. It's possible the court was duped by the ex's testimony, maybe she's just a real good liar, but if they're true the guy's an utter shitheel. In his proclamations of victory over his ex, he of course does not mention that the court supported the majority of her claims against him.

Not that it matters in this particular instance, I fully support these people eating each other and wish him the best success in suing Gencon too. Even if I never want anything to do with this man, he's doing God's work bringing these smug shits down a peg.

I haven't read the full court settlement, but IIRC they didn't rule some of the more eyebrow-raising statements as factual, they ruled they couldn't be disproven because it was he said/she said. (We can't prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Santa doesn't have a toy production facility at north pole vs. Santa's workshop is real)
They were able to fully disprove her statements on a few items.

From what I gathered from people posting about it who knew the parties:
Zak Smith is a self-infatuated fart-huffing fuck boy who is into kink, and Mandy is a bi-polar headcase who was into being treated like dirt until she wasn't and is doing usual Bi-polar Ex shit. They are both horrible people but Mandy being a girl will sob and get sympathy from anyone who hasn't had to spend time with her to see her real nature; Zak is clearly a gaping festering asshole from about five seconds after you meet him.

But she organized a lynch mob people signed on to without doing any research because #believeallwomen(unless you disagree with their politics) so its great to see frothing influcencers get served. No lessons will be learned, but its still nice to see even if the person least deserving is benefitting.

I found a dropbox for the ruling here from a blog from someone who doesn't seem to like him much. Skimming it, it looks like the judge's opinions on the statements go from pages 17-27. Slightly hilariously, on page 35 it looks like the judgment in his favor was for one dollar. I don't doubt for a second that guy stuck his dick in some crazy; these seem like a pile of garbage people who deserved each other and are busy doing the crab bucket thing to their exes out of spite and/or ego. But then that description amply covers an unfortunate percentage of the current RPG creators out there like whatsisface who wrote Dungeon World and ran a public stream game session where his NPC plugged an orgasm chip into some woman's android character. It's like one side is all genderspecials and sex perverts and the other is grognards stocking up ammo in their basement for the upcoming race wars; I just want someone fucking normal to write a good product.

I'm sure they filed off enough serial numbers and tweaked a few things around, but there's nothing truly clever about that system. Certainly not enough to win a prize for "best core rules". Coyote and Crow could have just been a WoD or CoD splat/alternate setting book and have a much, much wider pool of players to pick from. But the creator wanted to do his own, with blackjack and hookers.

If I think someone is doing something that they want to jerk off to then it's a red flag. Furry shit is pretty obvious.

If someone wants to be a kuei jin or hengeyokai, boot their asses ASAP, because inevitably they have special snowflake powers and are a straight upgrade over the western versions. For D&D, it's usually someone trying to draw from obscure splatbooks to look out for. The further out from core rulebooks you get, the more likely you are to run across some broken shit.

Anything other than human fighter.

I all seriousness; if a guy plays as a girl then he's wanking under the table. Girl playing as a guy is usually alright but why would you be playing with girls in the first place.
Races other than human, halfling, dwarf and elf are always tryhard quirky fuckers who just got done watching critical role.
Class/race matches not making sense irks me too, halfling barbarians with higher strength than humans is retarded and I tend to disallow it, it's why I switched to AD&D 2nd edition recently.

Do you mind posting some examples? I've dealt with a few on my end in WoD; two Kitsune players - one being a guy I knew personally that started screeching about the glories of communism, the other being a servant of the Wyrm that was obsessed with shoving things up their ass. I find just about anyone shoving their pronouns into shit these days to be kinda cringe, personally.
