At the end of each year, you tally up your wins and losses. If you've come out ahead, you pay taxes on the net gain (i.e. you spent $5,000 gambling and had $6,000 of winnings that year, so you're taxed on the $1,000). If you lost money (more likely), you can deduct the net amount you lost (i.e. you spent $5,000 gambling but your "winnings" only amounted to $3,000, so you can deduct $2,000 from your taxable income).

Notably, you don't get a deduction for the money you're spending (just the losses, if any), so you're gambling with income you've already paid taxes on. Wages, "donations" from whales, etc., all taxable.

Isn't there also a difference in taxation between professional gamblers (those for whom gambling is the primary means of earning a living, such as the esteemed subject of the thread) and those who gamble for entertainment (Joe Blow who goes to a casino twice a year and happens to win a fat wad), or is this distinction not made in the US tax code?

When I was talking about RNG manipulation earlier on I didn't mean blatant not paying out wins as was discussed later on, but something much more subtle.

With the number of such incidents involving Stake I could find just by searching YouTube I'm surprised that anyone still signs up for their services. I suppose degenerate gamblers will bet on anything, no matter how much the odds are stacked against them.

Can anyone make these clips of him dancing for earning 2k as well as his fish reeling into transparent gifs? I feel they would be most useful
vid -> gif makes for odd compression and lots of frames. I'll add more when I have enough time to cut out more frames.
E: I don't think I can directly upload the xfc for anyone who wants to continue, but this seems like a project that is worth some work for me anyway. I should probably get rid of the 2 frames that make him look like he has a yamaka for 40ms

Because to this morons addled brains and others like him they perceive "Yo the higher the odds the greater the win" never understanding that the likelyhood of them ever having a hope in hells chance of winning are astronomically stacked against them.
They don't pay no mind to the 50:1 chance. They see themselves as the one who'll turn their 1 dollar into fifty. So best bet 50 dollars on a hand of 14 and stay on that bitch.

"Awww busted"
"That's ok I'll win it all back AND MORE"

*Dealer gets 21

"Fuck my life, I'm such a loser, streams over everyone. Good night"

he keeps going up and down
gets up to 100, down to 5-15, back up, then back down
classic, but the run is finally over, he lost it all
"im a loser bro, im a fucking piece of shit, i fucking hate my life, i hate my life bro"

For those who missed this emotional rollercoaster. Paper walls, lack of doors, parents sleeping in the next room - doesn't stop this retard from screaming over losing $5 in the middle of the night. I really wish the worst for this faggot, and I really hope his parents finally kick him out.

He was up for 10 more minutes or so, begging for money and saying he is broke(despite flexing "making" $73k alone from Stake reloads a year, every day). What a ungrateful and entitled piece of shit.

Sort of off-topic, but I am trying to find the source for the music on the front page. I scanned through the highlights in the thread hoping to find it but did not.

Maybe his parents are holding onto the futile hope that one day he WILL win big enough to finally fuck off and get his own place.

"Just a few more weeks of buying him new headphones. Just one more month of doors getting punched. Maybe tomorrow will be the day he beats the house and stops verbally abusing us/screaming ebonics shit at a screen/depriving us of sleep"

On one level I do feel for them. They understandably and correctly fear if they kick him out he'll lose his kneecaps to a loanshark within days, but after the way I've seen this shitbag talk to them and they allow it day after day I tend to lose all sympathy.
After a certain point much like another cow Earlp Hypernova I just look at the parents and think. "Well if you're choosing to allow this manipulative, verbally abusive scumbag use you constantly then good luck to you"

Parents are stuck in the unenviable position of remembering their sweet little boys sixth birthday party when we was so kind and polite to grandma. They remember their hope for his potential as he grew up. They overlooked and forgave his nigger tier behaviour of breaking into cars for spare change. They've built their own prison brick by brick over the years by allowing this shrieking wigger to do nothing but smoke weed and piss every penny he comes into contact with away on cartoon cat slot machines.

This right here, this is why a lot of parents are very unlikely to straight up kick their child out of the house, especially if they are not financially stable and clearly have problems like Bosmanjack.

Was he an only child? I've never heard mention of siblings, that's also probably going to contribute to the attachment a bit.
Clearly they're sick of his shit, and yea they enable him by just allowing him to stream every night, but then again he's a fully grown adult so they can't really enforce any rules like "no Internet". But they can legally throw him out. But they probably won't, it keeps him out of real fucking trouble, even if he's not in any way grateful or respectful to them for allowing him to live in their house rent free as they grow old.

While there's always an option to start out humble with a job, any job, at any age, and earn some consistent and honest money, and just better one's life, it's the gambling addiction that holds him back in a serious way. If he had a job he'll simply gamble all his pay on this shit, he won't save up, he won't consider his finances, he couldn't look after an apartment of his own, he'd get into endless debt no doubt.
So considering he's given 200 dollarydoos to gamble with all the time, and he lives in his parent's house, he has it fairly cushy compared to some, he's not even compelled to get a job, the casino knows this, they know they'll get that money back and then some, and they know he'll keep streaming.

Not to mention the fact that he would have to learn social skills and a bit of grace if he worked in the real world, he's been allowed to ride roughshod on his parents for too long, his only social interaction is the streams, so he'll even miss that if he just went cold turkey. He'd have to learn to be normal, and that's probably rather difficult for a man of his age with no network, no friends and no ambition.

Ironically enough gambling is probably the only way he feels he can make a living. Perhaps it's the only thing he knows... While that's simply not true, it doesn't matter, he has a deal, the highs are high, the lows are expected, and it's all quite entertaining in the end of the day, it's predictable in a weirdly comfortable way from the perspective of a casual observer...
Come hell of high water, those winnings he crawls up to will be utterly lost in some dumb or just unfortunate bet, and we're right back to square one. Perhaps deep down we want to see him make it big, (that's content too) but that's also not exactly healthy for him either, because in the end of the day, the house wins, he'll lose that money one way or another...
And if time is money, he's already lost, because the amount of time he spends gambling hoping for the big bucks could have been spent doing anything productive.

How long until we see Door the Second? I hope it isn't viciously executed like the first one. Will he patch up that wall? Will one of these days his parents get so pissed off that they straight up interrupt his stream for more than 5 seconds and get into a real argument with him? Possibly giving us even more insight on their character?
Every time it happens btw it reminds me of an autistic guy I knew on Teamspeak, he would shout a lot, make stupid voices at the late hours of the night, and his parents would constantly tell him to stfu and go to bed, lots of hotmic moments. Difference is, he would awkwardly apologize and be quiet for the rest of the night. This guy though, he's either too jumpy on coke or too inconsiderate to at least lower the volume, must be a nightmare living with him lol. One of the traits I dislike about spergs is their inability to lower the volume.
