Absolutely. Normally, this would be where unions step in to demand better working conditions, better training, and time for maintenance, but they've all been subverted and now only serve as a means to punish dissent from current dogma. Unions all over the western world seem to be either buck-broken (the railway workers union in the US, for instance) or actively demand policies detrimental to their own members interests (UNITE, CGT, DGB, and so on are all totally invested in diversity initiatives and minority worship). In any place with a strong union presence, any apparent competence crisis will be downstream of that as well.

Trade unions are just fine, even in pozzed places like Philadelphia you will find the Democrats bitching about the lack of diversity with several of the big unions are on government watchlist for various reasons. The problem is that the unions are mercilessly uncompromising when it comes to testing for the basic skillsets they require and this filters out most black people whom are a product of inner city schools, those that apply and come from a suburban background tend to get in just fine, particularly so if they have a military background.

Yep. Heavy industry has been run on skeleton crews for the last several years. Most of these companies are actually run by large hedge funds that slash O&M to the bone and use the extra cash for executive compensation, stock buybacks, and diversity initiatives. It’s a game of chicken where everyone knows it’s not sustainable but let’s do this one more year and…oh shit, our plant just blew up or had a breakdown and the lead time for parts is 4-6 months so the plant now underperforms which prompts equity firm kikes to start slashing further and at that point, everyone heads for the exit.

I'd say it's a bit of both honestly. Like you say, shit is never maintained and it's kept going beyond expected life. But also the people that know how to deal with that shit are not being properly replaced and end up leaving due to being tired with dealing with that shit. You also have honest to god loss of knowledge, buddy of mine works on mining, turns out that in a country he worked for, there was like a 40 year gap of knowledge of how to open a mine tunnel. They always called up the same dude the few times it was needed, and outside of that, it never happened so you end up where a guy in his 70s knows, and then you have to go to said 30 year old to find any sort of practical knowledge. That's the really insane part of the competency crisis thing. We have so much stuff built on top of complex bases and that gets abstracted, but nobody know the basics anymore. They know how to work the machine that does microchips but know fuck all on how the microchip machine even got to the point of being a thing.

Unless he has such a blowout victory that they physically can't print enough fake ballots to rig it, he won't win the EC, they'll literally stop the vote to let them ship in more ballots until they win. Eh it's fine. If you look at a less misleading picture it's one large and one medium size storage tank out of dozens at the facility. Shit happens all the time, refineries and tank farms are easy to damage and hard to destroy. It's funny to see this when it happens, but it's also slightly concerning when you realize the reason why it happens. Boomers do not teach their kids fucking anything about how the world works, and therefore younger generations don't teach their kids shit either because they probably weren't taught in the first place, and society at large sure as hell isn't telling young people how things work either. If you're a young person trying to figure things out, your best bet is to literally just google everything because anyone you talk to in real life is either clueless as well, or if you ever sit down for a lecture for school or training for a job they're lecturing you about diversity or something equally useless.

I wonder what the cause is behind the boomerism of actively despising the younger generations moreso than any other generation I can think of. The idea of wanting a better and easier life for your children just seems to be completely foreign to them, and I have no idea why because that seems like it should be a natural instinct for a parent.

The only logical conclusion is that everyone is lying to get hired. See, this is why everyone wants to be an influencer. Influencers don't have as much arbitrary gatekeeping as regular employment. If they can find an audience of some kind, they can grow regardless of content quality. Regular job? Volodymyr Zelenskyy: The United States and the EU should share the risks of possible elections in Ukraine during the war

Elections in Ukraine under martial law are possible only if the right to vote is ensured for all citizens, including military personnel and forced migrants abroad; funding and the presence of foreign observers at polling stations on the frontline must also be ensured. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with journalist Natalia Moseychuk.

"We need every vote. We won't be able to say for ourselves that this was a very democratic election. We need a legitimate choice. We need this choice to be made by society. So that it does not divide our people. We need the military to be able to vote. They are defending this democracy today, and not giving them this opportunity because of the war is unfair. I was against the elections only because of this issue," the Head of State said, commenting on the possibility of organizing and holding elections under martial law.


The President also noted that the second aspect of the possible holding of elections during the war is the issue of the lack of funding. Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he had discussed this topic with American Republican politician Lindsey Graham.

"I told him: if the United States and Europe give us financial support... I'm sorry, I will not hold elections on credit, I will not take money from weapons and give it to elections either. But if you give me this financial support, if the parliamentarians realize that we need to do this, then let's quickly change the legislation and, most importantly, let's take risks together," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

The Head of State also paid special attention to the organization of the work of polling stations and the presence of observers, including foreign ones.

"Observers should be in the trenches. I told him: observers must be sent to the frontline so that the elections are legitimate for us and for the whole world. And this is absolutely fair," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

He reminded that a significant number of Ukrainians are now abroad, particularly in the EU, and that ensuring their expression of will also requires significant resources and polling stations, which Ukraine does not have in such numbers.

"We need help from Europe here, because Ukrainians today are mostly in the European Union. Polling stations must be opened there so that people can come. 7 million people have to vote. We do not have such infrastructural capacities - we need to provide appropriate opportunities there," the President said.

The Head of State emphasizes that he is not holding on to power and would like to hold elections. However, the rights of all voters must be ensured.

"How will the military be able to vote? Show me the infrastructure. No one has shown it yet. How will people abroad be able to vote? No one has shown me. There is a way out. I am ready for it. I am talking about this publicly now, I told him. I have no secrets," the President added.
