Users who have gone all in with being part of the Apple walled garden tend to not know or care about extensive configuration, self-hosting, or even basic repairability of their devices. I cannot be upset or even angry at those users, but I'm simply disappointed.

I can admit that many of Linux's problems are not "the developers' fault" per se, but that they're indeed problems. Such as the open-sourced Nvidia drivers being ridiculously slower than the official closed-source ones due to not being provided with firmware and having to work backwards. How many Apple fans think the fact you can't replace boot drives out of the newer Macbooks, boot off of external ones anyore, even know it's a problem, or heck still remember what headphone jacks were like?
