It's kinda sad that the US medical system basically left him without money, even as they cannot fix his ass which continues to deteriorate.
It's way beyond sad that a near palliative care patient has to "return to work" so they can continue to pay some multi-millionaire doctors to test the latest weird shit on his ass with 10% chances of success.
At least his work is talking, but imagine this situation for somebody working in a store or something. You'll just die, painfully, and nobody will care.

Does anywhere actually have good healthcare? I have Euro and Canadian friends who shit talk their country's healthcare all the time. NGL, I don't know much of the politics surrounding it but I feel like America could have a good system if we made fatties pay more so the people who are actually sick through little to no fault of their own could pay less.

One one hand, I was hoping something would get him interested enough to do a few more streams but knowing that it's because he became Mr Crystal, his vertebrae is collapsing and he needs cash ruins it for me. I'll definitely listen, but I'm not expecting a real "Jim's back!" Moment with all the painkillers he'll probably be in...

I know this is easy to say when healthy, but I wonder if he's considered ending it himself... specially if it's starting to eat into the post death plans

It depends how you look at it and how rich you are.
Euro countries differ in how they work too, and each system has disadvantages. For example, the one where I live is relatively plagued with corruption. Sometimes, medics that get bribes get rich enough to open up their own clinics, and you could get hired there as a comfy 2nd job, losing all interest to actually go to hospital unless you're into med.univ/teaching too. Many of these medics provide shitty services at the hospital, and offer an implicit offer of "if you want the full, detailed diagnosis, you gotta come to my private practice, and pay me."
If you are working class, with insurance taken from your wage, it generally ends up advantageous as you can actually get some pretty expensive treatment, surgeries etc. if you fall ill. But it has limitations, some meds are simply just incredibly expensive, some surgeries too, sometimes there are just 3 medics that can do it in the country, and you will need to wait, and wait.
If you're rich, you can still go private, and pay through the nose, get personalized attention etc. Of course, this is medicine, and everyone dies eventually, and there won't be any miracles. But the food in the private clinic will be way better, and people will treat you with more care, cause you're their paypiggie.

I don't know what's up with his spine apparently disintegrating, but I doubt it's related to the cancer. Either his day job involves taste testing plutonium or he's got real horseshit genetics and/or luck.
Being a confirmed potatonigger he very likely has haemochromatosis and this is just the latest symptom. This is unrelated to whatever megacanceraids he already has.

Well no shit, Sherlock. But numbers are numbers and each number has a person behind it if we're not talking about those viewer inflation methods. Pretending otherwise is some terminally online shit.
Completely missing the point is some literally autistic shit.
>abandoning him
Your e-daddy is calling you from his e-hospital death bed. Won't you answer the call and give from the bottom of your heart as well as your pockets, chyat? He promises it won't go to chinky Funko Pops this time (🤞🏻)

Why is his health so fucking bad? Like seriously, he's barely middle aged and he's got worse problems than both of my grandparents. Does God just hate him?
Probably a combination of genetics (his mom was in her early 60s when she died if I remember correctly), heavy smoking, at least casual drinking, and probably not the world's greatest diet or exercise regimen.

Smoking really is a wildcard, you have people who chain-smoke into their late 70s but also people who immediately fall apart at like 40.

I pay a lot for good healthcare. I would have been dead if I had to rely on the free shit. It's so bad that if you're in too much pain they're just recommend MAID because fuck saving you. Three oxy's aren't enough for you? Just have someone who will claim to know you sign a form and bam! They'll kill you.

Lots and lots of immune issues, which in his case are more dangerous and harder to pin down and treat than the cancer.
