Personally, I'm into collecting autistic artifacts. I have a Sneed cap, one of the Ralpharelics and a Jim hat would complete my trinity.
I think for most people though it's about the ethics of supporting Daddy Jim while also getting a souvenir in exchange. I don't have an issue with people liking and supporting who they like, just when it becomes idol worship. Metokur is probably one of the greatest content creators to ever force an exaggerated laugh into a microphone but he's not above reproach, especially when he's decided to shit on his own legacy for "one more" cash grab after intentionally cutting off a decent revenue stream that didn't require him to throw a pity party.

I don't know what archive channels are about these days but Jim has some good old ones out there for new watchers to enjoy. His Photon streams were phenomenal for example.

This is really tragic. I know some people think it's a grift but to me it's obvious it's real.

When you have blood cancer, especially non Hodgkin's lymphoma, it causes osteoporosis and the bones become brittle.

Jim's medical record shows a vertebrae in his spine has collapsed & crushed because of the effects of the cancer... You really do lose height, partly because you are literally shorter, and partly because you are hunched over.

It is also extremely painful and can severely impair mobility, hence the reference to modifications to the house.

I wish manlet Jim was coming back to make fun of Ralph or something, and not because his spine is falling out.
