The thing is if pat wrote some actually good books his ego might make some sense. He acts like just being published grants him the status of sci fi master. I would almost excuse his behavior of thinking he was hot shit if he actually was hot shit, but his publisher dropped him because his shitty books didn’t sell. Now he’s making tiny Tim fan fiction and can’t even write a paragraph per day.
It sounds like he is capable of coming up with cool ideas, but as anyone in art can tell you, coming up with cool ideas is the easy part. People who are good at their craft can appear very abrasive and controlling people, but that is because they know what works and what doesn’t. Pat isn’t allowed that title because he is even lower than the chuck wendigs of the world. He can’t actually make good on any of the cool ideas he has. So I am awarding pat an F, for Fat.

You could ask Pat to explain how quantum physics relates to My Little Pony, and he'd feel compelled to conjure some sort of an explanation. Anything to avoid simply saying "I don't know anything about that."

Fat reminds me more and more of Russel Greer as he gets deeper into this lolsuit insanity. Like Russ he's a low-IQ narc who is firmly convinced it is or should be illegal to mock him on the internet. Like Russ he is locked into his own deluded perspective and seems utterly shocked that the whole legal system doesn't agree that he is the victim and spring to his aid. Like Russ he is an absolute raw nerve of fragile narc ego and a pressure cooker of impotent rage who in the end still meekly submits to authority.
Lolsuits are pretty much the perfect trap for NPD dumbasses. They get to (in their mind anyway) wield the enormous power of the state like a weapon against their enemies, and all they have to do is explain why they're right, something they're utterly convinced of and that seems blatantly obvious to them. So obvious that they don't bother trying to figure out if they have a real case or how to present a set of facts logically. Fatrick's 27-page screed was as emotionally incontinent and logically incoherent as anything Russ has filed. When this of course fails to work, their total lack of awareness and inability to admit fault forces them to try the same thing again and again regardless of the cost in money, humiliation, relationships, or anything. In fact the sunk cost fallacy combined with the defiance of a wounded ego (especially Pat's clinical-level ODD) essentially forces them to keep repeating the same mistake over and over until it destroys their lives. There is something kind of fucked up about how entertaining it is to watch this process, but I also see cows as an object lesson in the many pitfalls and negative feedback loops of human psychology, especially in the total absence of critical self-awareness.

Maybe it was just that he was bullied mercilessly and can’t deal with any criticism?
He probably also tried fighting back but got kicked in every time he tried.
It could be it only stopped when he grassed up the perpetrators and Mama Raven swooped to the rescue.
A lot of inner rage and the only way he thinks he can “win” is if he stands up to them where it’s safe or grasses.
If this is true this is probably why he hates the lawsuit situation so much. He grassed, so the authorities should have punished the people responsible and then he won’t be picked on again.
