Fucking lol, this is finally the first straw that got to me since the initial motherfucking revelation. It didn't bother me that the charges were dropped, Chris spent almost the exact amount of time in jail he would have been sentenced to had he been found guilty anyways, and in solitary as well no less which despite what many think, is a deeply unpleasant experience we don't even subject most war criminals to for that length of time.

And in spite of the constant coping and seething that has occurred on this board over Barbs, I've always been sceptical that what happened to her was rape, we know she had been sexually inappropriate with him for years before her barbussy got zapped to the extreme, and while I do think it's possible he raped her, it's always been close to 50/50 in my mind, which is far off from what you can convict a man with.

But this, yeah fuck this, this is too much. While we can argue over what type of crime occurred in that house, it was still a sex crime at the end of the day and sending the perpetrator back into the same dwelling as the victim/co-perp like nothing ever happened is just fucked.

I've suspected since the first sightings that Chris has been allowed to get back a few things from 14BC since leaving jail (maybe to keep him compliant in transitional housing - I doubt they let him collect the items himself, even supervised). The medallion he's been wearing doesn't look like the same one as he went to jail with; it looks cleaner and newer like one of the medallions Praetor sold.

Pardon if this is retarded or redundant, but was it confirmed that Chris is the owner of the aveo?
from what I remember someone said the SONICHU plates still belong to the van, and the ones on the aveo are SONCIHU. wouldn't Chris still own the SONICHU plates, and since the van was totaled by Barb, wouldn't he be able to transfer them to any new pos that he could afford?
I know someone said the aveo was bought around when Chris got out of jail, but I wonder if someone got those plates and is taking everyone for a ride, despite more frequent sightings of Chris in the wild.

Anyone familiar with pre trail prisons know if he might have actually been allowed to take the medallion with him during his time in? I know you aren't allowed to bring real jewelry like artifacts made of precious metals or gems, but could he have argued it was a religious totem to keep it and thus allow it to collect more grime and filth during his internment?

Short answer — no. They have to balance safety and security against religious freedom; hence even if it was a religious medallion, he couldn’t keep it. The effort to accomodate only needs to be reasonable on the part of the facility. Hope this answered that.

I felt my heart stop for a second when I read "Food Lion" since we do most of our grocery shopping at one, but I think they're all just set up in similar fashion, with the coinstar machine near the front of the store by the checkout. I hope, anyway.

Her last contact with Chris was in 2018 during Idea Guys, shortly before she retired as a pastoral counselor and around the time Chris and Barb stopped attending church entirely. I'd imagine she's written him off as "beyond help/not my problem anymore" for at least 5 years, with the Idea Guy debacle as the last straw.

I wonder how surprised she was by the incest? It's very possible she's witnessed their creepy Oedipal vibes firsthand.
