If it helps any, a lot of these are before people pretended to give a shit about the retarded. They got life sentences and death penalties.

Except for the last one, which fills me with a notch of existential horror because you're dealing with an Of Mice And Men situation where you got someone who's a legit danger to society, killing animals and little kids but doesn't have the mental prowess to actually understand what they are doing or the ramifications enough.

Yet is juuuuuust mentally aware enough to escape by climbing fences, sneaking out in civilian clothing and be wary of cops.

I fucked around on the recommended section of Youtube and came across this channel, with a really shit name. They Will Kill You.

I've never heard of these fuckers before so I checked out their content. And uh....

Holy shit, it's bad. It's really, really bad. The narration is really, really odd. The narrator puts a weird emphasis on random words to intensify them, I guess? But the motherfucker sounds like he has Tourettes or some other sort of tic. It adds an unintentional whimsy to the video too which feels like it downplays the murders/deaths.

The background music is also complete trash. It's the typical generic Hollywood horror high-pitched violin. Don't get me started on the added sound effects. That shit just sounds cheap.

Also, they ask for subs right in the middle of the video. It's a huge pet peeve of mine when Youtubers do that at any other spot than the end of a video.

How the fuck do these fuckers reach 2,43 mil subs?

I actually like watching this guys videos occasionally just to take in that bizzare cadence, he talks like a man who can't speak a word of English and has only learned the script phonetically

A good number of them are ones that other crime channels don't really cover, but lately they've been covering new cases that are still being investigated when they really shouldn't since they don't have anything important to add among the 100 other true crime channels doing the same thing.

My only issue with them is how they frame their reading the script half the time and how often their husband interjects with 'wow, no way' and similar comments along with her acting really fake when a topic is supposed to be 'emotional', as if they don't both already know the content of the script.

There are some discrepancies like the mouth being wider on the victim and the tattoo designs either shifted in position or removed on her head, but that could've just been edited a bit by the guy who initially posted this on the /x/ board in 2009. Crazy shit

I've tried finding a video going into detail about the Grey Lock series but all I can find is retards that try to copy Wendigoon but fail abysmally.

As in, they don't theorycraft or cover the videos in a way that makes sense, they just go through the entire video series chronologically and just literally explain, say what you see style, what's happening on screen.

Not really from what I see. The analog horror consumer youtube community basically boils down to two camps: people who do live reactions and, if you're lucky, they might add their input at the end and people who basically just play the entire series from start to finish, telling you whats happening on screen, and at the end they put things together, and try to come up with something in the last 10-15 minutes.

A minor spot of drama in the outdoor misadventure subgenre of true horror happened a couple weeks ago and I'm just finding out about it now as I catch up on some backlogged videos.

I brought up Dive Talk a while back in this thread in the context of a pretty cordial back and forth with Mr Ballen about some inaccuracies in a story about cave diving he covered. Woody and Gus were friends with someone involved with the dive (Mike Young) and brought him on to deliver commentary on the events as he remembered them, everyone was adult about it and Mr Ballen took the corrections gracefully. Dive Talk reacted to more Mr Ballen videos in the future and everyone lived happily ever after. This is not that.

Terror Twin is an okayish (a little sensational, some Chills-tier commentary delivery, mostly mediocre) true horror channel on the newer side. Retreads a lot of the same ground as more enjoyable channels in the same niche like Scary Interesting and Mr. Deified. If you haven't seen his channel you're not missing much unless you really, really like stories about people dying while climbing and caving. He put out a fairly speculative video a little too soon about a diving fatality at Jackson Blue Springs that took place just this past May. Unfortunately the diver who died, Ben Strelnick (obit), was a friend of Woody and Gus. The resulting video reaction by them is pretty rough to watch.

Doesn't look like Terror Twin responded anywhere, but privated the original video in response. The YouTube short version is still up on his channel though.

I notice that trend too and not even just on Discord. The new Dire Trip made it a point to mention how the beaneater was a user of the totes Le EEEEVUUUUL right wing website like 4chan, mentioned in the same breath as The Daily Stormer.

It's slightly irritating and eye rolling because it's just Mainstream talking points from normies who act like is some kind of Nazi code.
