Culture is almost always downstream from either race, ethnicity, or sex. Although people will mention the likes of religion, religions are also founded by different racial, ethnic, etc. groups as well. Over time it becomes an ingrained behavior. Similar to the concept of Irish people having short tempers often. Sure some can overcome it but we're talking in generalizations here. (The average behavior) Since that behavior is often common and frequent I would argue it is the majority like that and not the minority, and regardless if my hypothesis is wrong about the adoption of these behaviors it's reason for concern living around such groups. (pattern behavior/experience)
