Honestly, the course of this entire thread should inspire another Census 2023 topic: Kiwifarms and You. Questions entirely aimed at the individual users and their reasons for joining this site. Obviously, this thread has caused two entirely different factions to seethe at each other which raises those very questions.

My suspicion is that the men ITT came from imageboards like /pol/, /cow/, MPC (RIP), Salo Forum and other such places whereas the women likely came from Reddit (especially r/GenderCritical and r/drama), Twitter, Crystal Cafe, lolcow.farm and similar sites. It's obvious both camps are mutually hostile and uncompromising, so it'll be fascinating to see what motivated their decision to join our little corner. Of course, it could possible that many just came from the internet drama community (Encyclopedia Dramatica, /cow/, /pt/) and simply are here for the spectacle.

The uncomfortable question to ask here is which portion of users are willing to become true and honest fans. That'll be much more interesting. Which camp is willing to shell out more to sustain this site?

What discussion is there to be had? There are camps, entire infrastructure supporting the camps, graves, even testimonies from people on both sides. It's like discussing with a Young Earth creationist and showing him dinosaur bones only to hear that God planted them to test our faith. You can either ban the discussion, go into a shouting match or use it to learn something about the world. In my opinion only the last option is a constructive one.
It's a fallacy I often notice in modern discourse: that if people encounter an idea they'll adapt it as their own without any critical thought so it's best to remove undesirable ideas from the public sight. In my opinion it's better to have such ideas discussed and scrutinized openly in public because knowledge is to such ideas what garlic is to vampires.
Also, fun fact, denial was pretty mainstream when the Holocaust was happening.

I spent a long time in that thread asking the simple questions like "well, if they weren't gassed in the camps, where did these people go? They seem to have been taken into Nazi custody and were never heard from again." And then the old Nazi farts would spin their wheels really hard about subjects I never want to think about again, like crematory thermal physics, how long it takes to burn bodies, the number of bullets required to liquidate the Lodz ghetto, the concentration of residual cyanide on the inside of the gas chamber, how much Zyklon B was actually used for delousing clothing etc. They just go right into minutia and refuse to see the birch forest for the trees.

I'm not against having a Holocaust thread, but I think the one we have is *extremely* friendly to Holocaust deniers and hostile to the truth.
