seems like DEV_IS is going to be a lot more music focused with ReGLOSS just being their first unit. They mentioned in their collab that they've all been already hiting the vocal and dance lessons which seems much more proactive and quick to jump into compared to previous gens.

It also at least seeing their early introductions and interactions seems like they might be a bit of a step away from the whole "Idol" thing and the baggage that can come with that and just more a push for just being normal musical performers. All of them showing a bit more of an openess to reaching out to their male counterparts with the entire gen starting to interact with them even pre-debut Ao and Ririka went the extrovert route and went to every single member of the company that they didn't interact with yet or that had not approached or mentioned them somehow. And individually introduced themselves, which included not only the JP stars but the EN ones as well which is pretty unusual for a new JP gen but seems like they might be "setting a precedent" that DEV_IS isn't going to go the way of "pretend males don't exist"

Imo they feel alot more like Nijisanji livers with music focus. The targeted audience is definitely the more normie one since there are no demons or animal girls but more grounded/normal designs. They still found a few wacky characters for these models. Ririka for example is going to stream as much as Fuwamoco, Kaela or Koyori, 2 streams per day for her first week.

How has Fishman not stamped down on talent for doing dono goals with content like you described after Yuri bailed and refunds had to be issued, along with Lia's "cucking" of fans during the ASMR. While I'm sure some of the people are being unreasonably mad about it, if she failed to follow through with a goal she failed to follow through, the fault lies with her and she should either release it or do something else to make up for the goal.

I still take issue with this whole event as I see it laid out, but I do want to say its not because I was fiending for that animation.
People gave money under the condition that if a goal was reached there would be a reward, but when said goal was reached the reward was yanked away with a excuse and a replacement reward was given, but the replacement reward is very different from what was promised. If the animation had released but had been a bait and switch, I.e the "NSFW" content was improper use of forklift or something I would think that was funny, but the fact the entire reward was withheld irks me. I don't think she should be fired from phase and sent to the gas chambers or anything, but she should have either never had it as a goal in the first place or she should just release it.

In her latest QnA stream Laplus apparently announced that she will upload videos and shorts on her youtube account and will only stream on twitch. According to her her uploads don't perform as they should because yt labels her account as an streamer account as soon as she streams and doesn't recommend her stuff to others. Her plan is to separate stream from uploads.
That's sound like a really bad idea imo. I have no idea why nobody in charge is trying to stop her from torpedoing her channel. The majority won't switch streaming plattforms, especially to twitch. Looking at Rin Penrose, streaming and doing shorts on yt are possible.
