I get that but there is no shortage of people playing Mario Kart and raging but in those videos you could tell that even though they are getting mad at the game they are still having fun (it’s a unique feeling that games can give, Mario Kart especially), arguably getting screwed over by a blue shell or something is WHAT MAKES Mario Kart fun and interesting.
But with the guy in the video I just get the vibe that he’s not actually having fun and is just playing the game because he needs to make a video on it. And at least for me it’s tough to watch someone play something if you can tell they are not having fun with it .

I can't stand all these various "10 things you didn't know you could do in skyrm/15 easter eggs in morrowind/this secret went undiscovered in oblivion for 12 years" channels. As someone who is a genuine fan of his it’s because unlike DSP, his antics are played solely for irony. He understands he’s not good at gaming, his rage is purely faux and he markets it as such, and off screen he actually has a degree of humility that is kind of endearing. He’s essentially the Lloyd Kaufman of gameplay commentaries where instead of trying to market himself as a professional gamer like DSP (I think?), he’s marketing himself as a character who gets mad at games.
Those are my reasons, I just think his videos are funny and that’s why.

I don't get Jerma at all. His content that I've seen is almost always him spamming cringy inside-jokes, to the point that a normal person looking in will just be utterly confused. Also, he gives "I was only PRETENDING TO BE A RETARD!" vibes.
Vinny has his moments. The problem is that he's at that "Streaming just because it's my job, not because it's fun" stage and is sick of his troon-infested fanbase, but can't get rid of them. I keep hoping he'll improve.
He really wants to be a comedy sketch channel but he kinda sucks at it. Mostly because he can't carry any good comedy by himself. All of his "X with Markiplier" things are unwatchable shit, but have a perplexing amount of effort/money tossed into them.

Is it me, or is there a tangible boredom just OOZING from the man these days whenever he has to pretend to be scared of the lastest spooky kindergarten horror game? I don't know, it feels like he's quieter and just goofing around with the games now and can't wait to quit. I think it was most obvious when he was first playing Security Breach and very visibly wanting nothing to do with FNAF ever again during it.

Yep, that was when I really recognized it. Despite what he was saying, you could tell he hated the game and it was taking everything he had to not outright say "This game is a boring, buggy piece of shit that runs like garbage and I hate it"
It was even worse when he played the sequel ("Security Breach: Ruin"). He not only didn't even bother pretending to be scared, he was rushing past stuff, yawning, and really looked like he couldn't wait to be done with it. I couldn't blame him. The game was so boring that him playing it didn't even make for good background noise.
He knows a ton of the games he's playing suck. But he's "Youtube Elite", so if he says anything negative, he gets all of his free shit from the various devs yanked.
I'd feel bad for him if he wasn't making money hand-over-fist from that shit franchise.
On another note, Northernlion autoplayed randomly and he's way more of a whiny asshole than I remember. I don't remember the game, but he was telling people in his chat not to help him at all, like a child throwing a tantrum.
So he made a bunch of terrible gameplay choices, then raged at his chat AGAIN for "Not warning him". What is his problem and how long has he been like this?
