The multi thousand anonymous donations really takes the lulls out of the sails for me. Multiple hundred dollar donations sure, but this feels like its being artificially propped up. I'll still laugh, but I'm skeptical that this is real support. It just seems too good to be true unless Monty has a history of rich benefactors that throw him cash for shitty art films.

Understatement. It says a lot that Rekieta is getting BTFO by a guy who was universally clowned on back when their skirmish took place. It does take a bit of wind out of the sails but I'm not quite sure it's illegitimate. I'm somewhat familiar with Monty and I feel comfortable saying he does have a very hardcore and loyal fanbase that includes at least a few Cynthia's that might be responsible for those donations. It's one of the strange but fascinating things about him.
