I could adopt a girl from China, raise her, teach her how to program a video game (a skill I don't have myself, so therefore I'd have to learn it myself as well) and that girl would have have a game out on the iOS store while John was still griping about how much work he has to do

This reminds me of one of her earlier mansplaining chimpouts, when she was complaining about how Rev60 would only run on certain specific models of iPhone, and men had to tell her how ridiculous that was.

Sounds like he was confusing iOS and Android. Android has tons of fragmentation issues, but IIRC, it's getting better with newer versions of the OS.

Nah, this was back before he was even considering non-Apple platforms. He literally had the game locked to certain CPU and RAM configurations, and flipped out on anyone who told him that was stupid.

EXPERT APPS! PROFESSIONAL COMPOSITION!

Can't be arsed to get the newest version of the EXPERT software because it's too expensive.

Gotta have that Soylent and Blue Apron though. And the bike. And the dogs. And travel to events. And have all the iGadgets. And the GAME STUDIO.

I can't tell, but is Wu signed in to Adobe? Cause it doesn't look like it.

Genuine version or pirated... you decide!

LOL Wu, $20 a month is fucking nothing for continuous updates. SaaS is the greatest thing that's ever happened to Adobe, especially at our company. I can't tell you how much money we'd blow on Adobe Premiere just upgrading the damn thing once a year just to make sure we can be compliant with our clients needs. Never mind that we never have to worry about having the latest release, with the latest bug fixes, and the latest codec support. Never mind that we don't have to worry about rolling out new installations since the Adobe installer takes care of that for us. It's almost as if you never use any of the tools you pretend to use more than once a year.

Seriously, Wu, shut the fuck up.

Could she be overcompensating any harder? "Professional Voice Acting! Professional Music! Professional Composition!" Maybe if she spent as much time being a creator as she spent trying to look like one on social media, she wouldn't have to blow so much chaff over a game that even she's ashamed of, deep inside.

Wow, I haven't checked up on Brianna in months, I wonder if anything has happened...

*sees that Revolution 60 still hasn't been released on Steam*

ARE. YOU. FUCKING. SERIOUS.

Literally what else does she have going on her life that justifies being almost a year late for a deadline? We're all going to die before the PC version of Revolution 60 ever sees the light of day.

Yep, monthly payments where you're given access to multiple apps is way better than spending $700+ on Photoshop alone, only to have to drop another $700+ when a new version is released. I'm honestly shocked Adobe didn't adopt that business plan much earlier; most people can swing $20 a month for Photoshop and other apps, but it's much harder to find someone who can spend close to a grand for Photoshop in one go.

But Brianna said it was a stupid business plan so I guess we're just dumb and wrong.

Reminds me of when Metroid: Other M felt the need to advertise that the game had "fully voiced cutscenes" on their box art, y'know a trait also shared by pretty much every other modern AAA title. You could tell they were reaching to find good advertisements for that piece of shit too.

You forgot the most important line of all in this post....
Where's the game, John?

"Professional Victim!"

About Photoshop, I actually agree with Wu. I stick with an old perpetual license rather than paying monthly, because I don't really need Photoshop all the time.
You know, because I'm not a real professional - just like Wu.

1) You know how you work with Photoshop on a laptop without a graphics tablet or mouse attached to it?
Not at all or very, very, VERY slowly.

2) Look to the right. You can see the list of layers there.
That hard work Wu is putting into her screenshots the past days? That work is literally three images pushed together. That text? It's probably a screenshot from the trailer, since it is a from an outside source (that symbol in the lower corner of the layer list indicates that) and the layer name is also named "Screen...". However I am a bit at a loss how she manged to get that fade effect in there.

But let me say this again, she just shoved three images into each other. I do more work when I mock LaBelle's comics and then it usually only takes up one of my smoke or coffee breaks.

3) It seems like Wu doesn't know how to use masks.
For those of you that don't know PS: If you know the first thing about Photoshop, you are laughing your ass off right now.

4) Wu is throwing out tons of money for Freemium games. But she hasn't the 20 bucks for Adobe.... 20 tax-deductible bucks.

5) I bet all my goodguy points that she is using PS5 because she pirated it.
