That number is prominently displayed right on their splash page. The hotline page seems to be a little more information and a portal for operators to log in and get to work.

Why would a legitimate hotline hide the fact that they have no operators for the hotline they collect money for, forcing suicidal people to call just to get a message telling them to fuck off and that their suicide isn't important enough to care about since "Greta" has some celebrities to jump in front of for photo ops?

It's almost like it's a fucking fraud or something.

Ever heard of suicide by cop?

I've heard of it but I don't know how common it is. Does it happen often? I do think dragging other people, especially random strangers, into your suicide is pretty terrible. Like the people who jump in front of trains. The cal train in the San Francisco area has had so many people jump in front of their trains to kill themselves that they pretty much beg people not to on the suicide lifeline signs they have. Not only do they have to clean it up but the train conductor has to deal with the fact that they hit someone and everyone on the train's trip is delayed. Wasn't the pilot who crashed into the French mountains suicidal too? That was one of the things I heard when it happened.

They ought to fix their SEO, then. Via casual google search, it is not readily apparent whether one should choose http://www.translifeline.org/ or http://hotline.translifeline.org/ to find contact information. As the selling point for this service is that trans persons are more vulnerable than the general population to death by suicide, one would think that reducing the barrier to access would be a strong priority. Someone in distress could experience an increased sense of hopelessness and despair when confronted by a service that gave the appearance of no longer existing, or simply might not have the wherewithal to click around and find the proper link.

The likely scenario in which no operators are available, and the caller is urged to call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, only compounds this problem by placing the burden of an additional step on the caller.

One might be forgiven for suspecting Trans Lifeline of being run by incompetent people.

If you look at their official "Amplify Your Impact" logo, or the three interconnected hearts, that´s pro stuff, most likely done by a graphic design studio. It looks good and has meaning.

And then you have this shit. Something which was clearly done on the fast and cheap, which is most likely something "Greta" came up with. Just it doesn´t come out of nowhere, like the whole scam to fund his and NIna´s lifestyle.

That´s the difference between the two designs. One which speaks to potential donators or volunteers in a way which makes them look sympathetic, and "nice". The other which tells everyone what a failure TLL is. Something which "Greta" doesn´t realize since he´s riding on his high horse of how great he is.
