In my opinion threads that encourage users of the community to hate each other should not be allowed. In the same vein that more restrictive rules for arguments in A&H were imposed, our community cannot stand divided. People should politely disagree and then disengage like adults instead of gathering together with like minded users and promoting chaos. I've had my fun adding fuel to the fire so I'm not blameless, but these threads really do nothing positive for the community in my estimation. I think these threads have been both hilarious and insightful. The users here are having fun shitposting, and the users in the man hate thread are having fun clucking with the other hens. Other than the occasional person that abuses reports/spams null/takes the shitflinging outside the threads, I think it’s been an entertaining situation all-around.

Bruh you can read the thread from the start and we all just memed and gaff, where the OP of this thread literally bailed out. This thread was good as dead while living on the vitriol of @decline and @Radion_Godiva. Most of us don't hate women like at all my good freind.

"Women can also be bad" Is a retard tier take, because sure they can be bad; but men absolutely commit more intimate partner violence; both in sheer numbers, and in relative amounts as part of the population. The issue that the parroted line of 'men do more beating' - which they do - brings up, is that it's a small, predatory minority of men. These men have a string of partners that they are violent towards, they tend to never stop being violent; and they tend to escalate to murdering their partner.

It's not 'all men', it's a small subset of men that are prolifically violent among neatly every woman they encounter. The systems that are put into place for women, are typically focused on letting women escape an abusive man, but abusive men are well practiced at isolating and trapping women. The issue is that a man that abuses his partner will get away with it multiple times before they ever really get on the polices radar; when they are convicted, most are good at hiding this fact from their future partners, and there's no real way to proactively inform women that the man they are dating are controlling psychopaths that stand a good chance at trying to strangle them to death.

It'd be super great to say 'oh women should make better choices', and yes, absolutely they should; however these men are predators. They will lie pathologically, manipulate as easy as they breathe, and deliberately go for women that they believe are vulnerable. It's also transmissible down the ladder; most men who are abusers, come from abusive homes themselves; and most women who are abused come from the same environment. It's a systemic issue, mostly perpetrated by men, against women, that tracks down from father to son, and mother to daughter. There's no really easy way to intervene in that cycle either, since women have to be proactive in reporting it, because of the whole isolation tactics, and the way the men keep them away from others. That then presents a very strong danger of the man murdering them, or acting to further trap them through things like pregnancy.
