Adopting one of these fucking things should come with a charge for criminal negligence or similar tbh, since putting down the owners is a much harder sell. Shitbulls are not inanimate objects like guns and knives, they don't need a 'pilot' to be deadly. I understand a lot of the hate Pitbulls get, and I think the majority of the frustration is directed at the people who bred them into these insane killmonsters and the ones who blindly defend them online. A lot of that seems to appear as, or convert itself into, hatred of the actual dog. At the end of the day it's just an animal so I can't bring myself to share those feelings.

I definitely have full disdain for the dogfighters and literal scum who bred these things specifically to fight or kill other animals and have very little respect for the people who relentlessly defend them online despite their clear and present unpredictable hostility and capability of causing harm and serious injuries or even death. Dogs should be banned if the breed is naturally bad-tempered, or if its progenitor breed was intended for fighting or killing large prey. The latter is because they'll more likely have very powerful jaws, which make fatal injuries much more likely. Any large dog can cause an injury, of course, but fighting breeds have particularly huge and muscular jaws that are more than capable of crushing bone (which is why they look "dangerous"; they are fucking dangerous).

When looking at dog attack statistics, you don't see them separating breeds apart, instead lumping all sorts of breeds of dog under one category of pitbull and then compare them to individual breeds like rottweilers. You really don't want them to blanket ban an entire dog breed type, because then people may try to go wild with that power and ban all molossers because all pitbulls/rotts/mastiffs are molossers. It is better to ban each individual breed rather than blanket-banning "all pitbull-type dogs." You might think it is common sense, but common sense is not common these days.

Zoos help heal injured wild animals. Helps repopulate endangered species. It is also the only container for extinct-in-the-wild species (aside from shit like axolotls). Ignoring this just cuz u want the animals 2 b free would make you a tard. You will need to remember that ALL pit-bull type dogs are descendants of bull-and-dog fighting dogs. They were bred to kill and love fighting and have a high pain tolerance. Some of these factors may have been weakened once they weren't specifically selected for those exact traits, but that kill instinct is too dangerous to play russian roulette with in any pitbull breed. Therefor they are inherently more likely to attack than even a rottweiler. Rotts will attack a human because they perceive a threat, not for fun/ hairtrigger like a pitbull. Rotts were bred specifically for livestock and cart pulling. They were never bred for fighting. Pitbulls were only ever bred for fighting up until very recently. Those deviations in genetics are not old enough to consider any pitbull safe.

Here's the thing: What does banning a breed of dog exactly mean?
Is the import of these dogs fully blocked? Will all the dogs already in the country be sterilized by a certain date? Will a dog of that breed born after the ban be subject to euthanization? Will dogs not brought in for sterilizing risk being removed and euthed, or will there be a heavy fine? How heavy a fine? Will they be classified as deadly weapons if they continue to be bred in violation of the ban?
We need specific details so pitmammys aren't screeching about their dog getting shotgunned by a state shitbull death squad, and racecucks who think this is a metaphor for removing blacks don't immediately jump on the bandwagon too.
