I will also point out that his recent defense of Vito casts his defense of the plot point regarding the MC lusting after an underage girl in a different light.

I assume he's mentioned it again more recently or someone just recently thought about it again, but your only takeaway needs to be that Nick identified with a movie about letting go of inhibitions (which eventually got the male lead killed) and proceeded to let go of his inhibitions only for all of his actions to immediately smack him in the face like an oversized rake.

What's funny is that he still hasn't figured out that this "me me me" mindset is what's causing him so many problems.

A good many people on this thread were wondering how Drexel would handle the "what if you didn't eat breakfast?" question to test his IQ via a hypothetical. This actually already exists in its own way. Busy with Drexel OP and other responsibilities, so while I do have an extended cut, I will be referring to a post from @Balldo's Gate for convenience (click it to go there and watch the videos).

Drexel describes a situation where women are depopulated and converted into communal sexual property (and a backup for reproduction) while men's sexual needs are met by sexbots and reproduction is handled by an artificial womb.

Someone later asks Drexel when he's going to "give up his daughter to the train". Drexel is confused, Nick thinks its a reference to a Nazi train to a camp, and Raging Golden Eagle is the only one who clues in to the sexual context. The level of confusion is honestly embarrassing to watch considering Nick and Drexel's fixation on innuendo and sexual terminology.

Drexel responds saying he wouldn't give up his daughter because it wouldn't happen within his lifetime (although elsewhere he says it would happen in the next 10-20 years).

Drexel brings it up for the first time at 2:35:00 of this video. I've clipped out 6 minutes of it, there might be more discussion in between the two clips I've made but I don't think so.

IIRC, Nick spun it as a good thing that Lester/Kevin Spacey character's arc said fuck it, tossing away all his commitments and shedding all society's expectations of a middle-aged middle class man.

Quitting his corporate job. Blackmailing his boss for severance. Standing up to his cold adulterous ball-buster of a wife. Returning to a teenage phase of listening to music, smoking weed and pumping iron in his garage. Taking a fast food job with no responsibility whatsoever.
Regrowing his balls to speak up about domestic choices around the house. Trying to rekindle a spark in a loveless marriage.

But I do recall that Nick also explicitly made the point that the universe punished Spacey swiftly and harshly the second he went too far with his liberation by creeping on an underaged Mena Suvari.

So, Nick's interprets Spacey's character as an enlightened, brave, liberated hero and supports all his hedonistic, heterodox and self-serving actions up until the point of going "too far". So Nick recognizes that there is a cosmic justice force that is supposed to keep the libertines in check.

He simply seems to have lost all perspective on where this line in the sand is personally. Or has completely shifted the goalposts hoping that karma won't notice.

As an aside, it becomes harder to separate the art from the artist re: Spacey present day and assess the film dispassionately.

He managed to make it through dry, but said “By the end of the three months I knew I had a problem because all I did for that time was fantasize about what my first night back would be like — what I’d drink, who I’d be with, where we’d go, etc.” A lot of people aren’t daily drinkers and can still relate to that.

Unfortunately Nick will have to suffer a lot more before he realizes that living like a frat tard in his 30s isn’t cool or badass. Maybe it will be when one of his kids asks him why he always stinks of liquor when he drives them to school in the morning or maybe it will be when he drives them to school while still drunk and kills them. Who knows? That doesn't address the fact that the rumors predate Warski saying anything about it and also predate the rise of the swinger narrative after the Locals thirstposting resulted in people tracking back and the Hedonism II room being discovered.

Whether the things Warski is saying are true or not is ultimately immaterial. They aren't new, and even with those rumors being around for a very long time they aren't discussed much. I don't see a lot of daylight between Ralph and Warski's stories. In context, the "sexual assault" thing was clearly a bit. The initial clip that was posted here appears to be ripped from Kinochet's Tweet about the situation, which emphasized that because it's the kind of narrative he loves to run with. I had watched the whole segment and knew that's not all that was said, which was why I posted a longer clip where Warski explicitly denied that what happened constituted sexual assault and saying "No, I liked it". And even that isn't exhaustive about all was said, but that clip was already almost 4 minutes.
