What do you find irritating about YouTubers?

Nonstop bitching, moaning, complaining about YouTube meta, algorithms and demonetization while also shilling overpriced shit merch, overpriced lackluster patreon-esque services & having a sponsor segment.

Uploads shifting to lazy stream clips/vods/cut up vods.

I was about to post something eerily similar to this about WrestlingBios.

Really enjoy his Monday Night War videos but it gets old seeing him complain about being demonetized when he's got a Patreon, merch, and newly added ad reads.

Christ dude, that should honestly be enough to stay afloat.

People drinking/getting drunk on stream, especially people who stream for a living. Listening to drunk people talk is irritating as fuck in general, and if you think streaming is your full-time job, then drinking on stream means you're drinking at work. Getting drunk at work isn't cool, interesting, or funny, it's trashy and low class. For someone working any other job, it would be cause for an intervention. Like if Stephen A. Smith went on air drunk off his ass, people wouldn't throw shekels at him and ask him to toast their dead dog 20 times in a row, they'd get him checked into a fucking rehab center. I don't know why everyone gives YouTubers a pass.

It's like, have you thought that maybe the algorithm  isnt fucking you up the ass, you just arent entertaining? Got plenty of youtubers in my sub feed that I just don't watch anymore, either they fell off or I got bored after a while and just haven't unsubscribed. I'm not a paypig.

This new thing of putting in animations of clicking the subscribe button/notification bell in the middle of the video. I guess some people find it less obtrusive than the youtuber just asking for you to subscribe, but I find it annoying to basically get a pop-up ad in the video, complete with sound effects.

This covers all social media influencers but when a YouTuber purposely strolls out their young child/infant to present to the audience. At the very least I regard that the same way I would pageant moms exploiting their kids for attention or at worst a form of prostitution. Add a shit cherry on top if they give their kid their own hashtag to brand them like a product.

All the unnecessary attempts at humor. Too many YouTubers fancy themselves comedians. Nothing will cause me to leave a video faster than someone trying hard to be funny, especially when the video's subject matter isn't meant to be humorous. For instance, if I open a video purporting to be a technical how-to tutorial, I don't want to see some asshole making lame jokes and doing comedy bits.

Youtubers who think they need a joke every 2 seconds with ADD editing to match. Bonus points for constant use of clips way louder than the rest of the video.
Absolutely obnoxious.
Videos that have that usually get better halfway through because they get lazier and do it less which says something.

Absolutely hate how some Tubers overedit their shit instead of following the mantra that "less is more" and you don't have to be overly flashy.
Case in point:
This is of course on top of the unfunny moments from said overediting. My guy you're a .png sperging about cartoons, no need to reinvent the wheel about it.

Probably been said before, but people doing the "Only 5% of the people watching this video are actually subscribed!" is starting to irritate me. Bitch, i'll decide if i want to follow you. I could watch dozens of your vids without subbing if i feel like it

Zoomer speak has become cancer to my ears. If you can't speak like a functional human then i dont wanna listen to you.

Youtubers tiptoeing around "trigger words" like suicide or kill, bonus points if it also uses an annoying censor sound. I refuse to believe this is a good way to keep videos ad friendly since I've also seen it in true crime videos or videos about lolcows and other infamous people on the internet.
Also hour long essay videos that achieve their length through filler unrelated to the main subject. Quinton Reviews is a good example of this.

That's a real big one. A lot of true crime channels won't say things that were said nonstop on basic cable TV, and even network over the air like 'suicide' or 'assault'.

The first Youtuber I can remember really noticing it with was Thequartering;

Wavywebsurf is about the only one now who doesn't do it, yet. He'll throw in some cussing and just lay it out. And as above, once someone starts to bitch about the money 'I only made $10k last month instead of $15k like I used to.' Turkey Tom kind of shocked me when he did basically that. He's also one of the worst of self censoring and calling men 'she' or 'they'. He also did this horrible static sound over the words.

Then there's this stuff. Funky soygirl, she really puts me off. She is very popular on the algo. I watch a lot of science content and every time I see her mugging like this in the thumbnail I'm tempted to hit 'ignore all'. I think I watched 2 of her vids, phew. Dr Becky:

These appeared briefly in my feed and then promptly disappeared when I never clicked them for the reasons you mentioned. In general I hate manicured/overly polished thumbnails, anything needlessly sensationalized with arbitrary CAPITALIZATION and gratuitous PUNCTUATION??!!

Pic related popped up earlier and it fortified my wish for "people" like these to catch some sort of incurable venereal disease.
