Fun seeing this thread play out. I've already weighed in on the other thread, so now I wanna weigh in and mansplain as a dude. Here are some things I see in other bros I don't like (note that there are more because, as a man, I know more about men than women):

- Why are periods treated so weird? Not the PMS part, but the actual flow part. And why is there such a fear from men to go to a CVS to get their loved ones feminine hygiene products. "OH NO, I GOTTA GO BUY MY GF TAMPONS AND MIDOL WHAT WILL THE CLERK THINK OF ME????????????" Man up.

- We got shit communities. It didn't use to be this way, but now it is. I think men sublimate this desire for brotherhood in hobby groups, the army, extremist groups, etc. We need better communities tbh.

- Whenever some feminist says "Free the nipple," a horde of redditors go "durhurhur, yeah, lemme see em"

- Some of us say some fucked up shit behind closed doors, and I really hope its all in joking.

- We have such a low bar for hygiene and yet many of us are still underachieving.

- A lot of men I know haven't been taught how to deal with our emotions. We cannot feel the least bit emasculated without wanting to do something stupid (see: all the funny parts in this thread)

I generally dont like gueswork about fertility in the past mostly because at the end of the day its guesswork. However we can see the average fertility rates in undeveloped shitholes who have some medical services in urban cores and very low urbanization ( less than 20%) which was common in most of civilised history start with Niger which tops 7 children per woman . The death rates during chidlbirth are much lower than most people assume . Just poke around with antropology articles and studies about middle in nowhere tribes with acess to nothing . They keep shitting out kids because their children mortality rates are horrendious and there are less deaths related childbirth than most people assumed. Most cultures have older women who help younger ones to survive their childbirth and integenerational knowledge about how to midfery . Granted european babies are bigger on average than asians and blacks. So that might be a factor .

Secondly urban populations arent that big part of the population in pre-industrial populations maximum estimates are around 20% during peak prosperity like roman empire.
