Plus there's also the fact that many of us neither want nor have the capacity to care for kids. The older I get, the more I realize how much I don't want kids and how much of a disaster me reproducing would end in (that may or may not involve making dead baby soup in the bathtub because the post-partum psychosis voices told me to, since I'm a perfect candidate for post-partum psychosis).

It is what it is, I also instinctively find babies repulsive. Not everyone is meant to be a parent, this includes plenty of women.

The idea that all women should have or want kids is dumb AF and goes against every infamous horror story about abusive moms yet continues to persist for some reason.

Yeah the comic is absolutely horrible and very moid-coded. I love Garth Ennis and Preacher is one if the best comics ever imo, but when he’s bad he’s bad and the Boys comic is Ennis at his worst and most scrotelike. Very heavy on rape jokes, very racist, homophobic but not in a funny way, repetitive, edgy for the sake of edgy it’s just not good at all and everyone agrees the show shits on it at all levels. I highly recommend the show but skip the comics
