This post's a couple days old but it caught my eye. That particular usage of "cold/warm" also shows up in sales lingo – if you're a landscaping company or something, "cold prospects" are ones where you just drop flyers in mailboxes, and "warm" ones are when a local business finds you by googling "landscapers near me". Or something like that. Dunno which came first, lots of PUAs draw comparisons between their tactics and sales. While PhilKat is using the a PUA-like phrasing, he might not have learned it from the PUA sphere. But he probably did. It's not worth giving these people the benefit of the doubt.
That does raise the very real possibility that Phil Sisson aka Katherine Lorelei was involved in PUA. It could explain some stuff; maybe ties in with the ex-wife he claims was abusive? I'll do some searching later, starting with his tweets.
I personally associate cold/warm in that context with sales, but it makes sense that is how PUA would talk about things in their approach.

Getting the yes, moving from prospect to prospect until they hit a result, peacocking, salesmen wear flash suits and drive expensive cars to project success , PAU wear similar expensive eye catching things deliberately to attract attention.
Phil claims he is autistic and that is why he had his computer solution business, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he tried sales at some point.
He probably was bad at it, being an autist.
Even if it requires a single mindedness and refusal to hear no, it still requires a kind of confident charm which autists frequently lack.
However, it does provide a step by step path to results, so I can completely see an autist internalizing it as a method for success.
So if he wasn’t a failed PUA, he probably was a failed door knocking Salesman, autistically barging into houses and frightening leads.
