Well... now we're halfway through September and dear God very little has happened over the course of almost five months... I've never seen the content pastures this barren before. As for all the shit about the Lolcow Podcast, I'll hold my breath until we see it. For now it's nothing more than a dead dropped project by Keem because he couldn't get DSP in it.

Yeah we got pages upon pages already covering this subject. Next I'll hear the sky is blue. But even the trolls have been kind of neutered lately in behavior. I'm wondering if the community is just going through some kind of burn out and just don't have the energy to gayop as much anymore?
The hardest trolls seem to be on break only leaving behind the most basic of clippers like Lummox and Breaking Banquet left. It's weird because they are still active in the discords. There's still a dedicated group still hanging around as Wings keeps repeating the same thing every single day. Just looked up what he did recently and as expected: eat, sleep, shit, and play video games. He's still fat and boring.

I think it's also worth mentioning that this fat fucking slob was unironically considering adopting ANOTHER pet a few streams ago. I don't remember exactly what he said, but he kept saying how he was looking online at getting another dog or a cat (probably to replace his dead cat Rocko - RIP). I wouldn't wish a dead pet on anyone, but Richard needs to realize that adding on another pet onto the list of bills he already has is more financial stress that he doesn't need. He's trying to fill a hole that only time can heal. If he's struggling to even meet monthly car payments, getting a cat or a dog that is going to need expensive vet bills isn't a good idea at all.
Not to mention, I don't think Wingo takes the best care of the pets he does have in the first place anyway. Sure they may take them to the vet in extreme situations, but I doubt Bailey or Bongo ever get walked, and Bongo literally lives outside every day in the South Carolina heat and the hurricanes because Wings has been too lazy to housetrain him for the last 3 years (or however long he's had him for.
Not all of them get every stream. Lummox does make a video for almost every single stream which is pretty insane, but even Breaking Banquet ignores a couple of streams a week usually. The other ones like WingsOfSigma only make around 1-2 videos a times a week at most.
This sounds about right. Wings spent a lot of that money on his roof, flooring, and air conditioning unit, I think. But of course the Lolcow podcast money likely did not come in yet, and it may never come in if they don't get a guest and it never airs. I'm sure Keemstar had Wings and Boogie sign something where they wouldn't get paid unless the videos actually released. Not to mention they likely would only get a fixed amount of money unless the video did significantly well.

Are there any archives of WingsofRedemption's Call of Duty content posted between 2009 and 2011/12? Specifically COD WAW, MW2 and BO. I can find some PersonaGaming videos from that time featuring him such as this one...

Yeah, Wings really used to pump out a lot of content. I think what a lot of newer trolls don't realize is how big of a YouTuber (no pun intended) he was back in the day and how, even today, his content impacted internet culture. That as much of a loser as he is now, he didn't just pop in out of nowhere. He used to be somebody.
Obviously, he wasn't as big as someone like Ray William Johnson or some other massively popular content creator, but one could argue that he was probably one of the people who helped to kickstart COD-related content on YouTube in general. And in terms of his lower subscriber count or lower views compared to big YouTubers today, it's also important to remember that back then, fewer views and subscribers actually went a lot further in terms of cultural impact made and money made than they do today. As much as I love to lampoon and troll the guy, I think it's hard to deny that he was successful back then for a number of years. He was the guy who even hosted a commentary from Dr. Disrespect to boost the Doc's channel, which for some people it might be hard to believe that at one time, WingsOfRedemption was a bigger and more influential YouTuber than Dr. Disrespect. Hell, Richard was even early on the whole trend of gaming YouTubers making podcasts together way before that blew up when he helped to create PKA.
And in general, I think it is the early fame, successes, and prosperity that makes his downfall all that more interesting and fascinating. It really is crazy how Richard squandered literally everything to the point where now he has razed his own channel to the ground and deleted all his old videos.
I also definitely agree that Wing's inability to handle criticism, along with his tendency to double down on controversial opinions even when he knows he's wrong, (aka stubbornness and the inability to acknowledge when he has made a mistake) are the cornerstones of what solidified him into being a lolcow. I wouldn't say he was a lolcow back in the day, but it these negative traits did help to set the foundation for what he would later become. Instead of brushing off stuff like his feuds with Hutch and Syndicate, Wingo would instead react explosively, which would only further to incite trolling against him. His own negative interactions with fans probably didn't help this either. I'm pretty sure that one troll BanishedLegion used to be a fan of Richard until the plump pimp removed BanishedLegion from his friend's list (aka "You just lost your friend slot") and prevented him from playing COD with him back in the Xbox 360 days, which began BanishedLegion's vendetta against Richard that continues to this very day.
If you're looking for some of the older videos, I believe WoodysGamertag and Hutch also had a few that featured Wings in them, but I'm fairly sure most of those old videos from Wingo's channel are gone from YouTube forever.

I could have sworn though, that sometime around when Richard said he privated all of his old YouTube videos (he deleted them permanently at a later date), some guy on one of the Wings subreddits said he had a personal archive of a ton of them, but since most of those old subreddits are now banned and gone, I don't know how you could get in contact with him to find the videos. Maybe try scouring archives of the old subreddits? I'm sure they're out there on somebody's hard drive somewhere though.

Is there some kind of attempt going on to hide old WingsOfRedemption clips and compilations? I swear some have gone missing over the last two years and I really had to scroll for a bit before finding a reupload of the classic Rock Bottom video. There's only one channel that seems to be properly archiving some of these oldies by the name Sixms.

Well from what I can tell a lot of the older troll channels have been taken down due to striking. Simps for Wings like Superhound and other people had gone through and attempted to strike out a lot of them a few different times, though most of that occurred a while ago. It's what took Sean Ranklin's channel down, Lord Of The Wings, WingsTings, Conway Conman, and several others. Most of them didn't bother fighting the strikes so their channels just got wiped.
However it's worth noting that a decent amount of these videos, especially the Sean Ranklin ones, have been reuploaded by other trolls and archive channels so I'm sure they'll be there for posterity regardless of striking. Not to mention, a lot of these videos are pretty popular so I'm sure the classics like the Rock Bottom video or the WW2 Freakout will be present on a lot of people's hard drives.

Wingo really does have some hilarious (unfortunately, not for him) compilations. While most of the trolls he has should rope, the harmless ones who just poked at him in games got some great clips out of him. It’s a shame he’s so pathetic now, because when he actually enjoyed playing games, he was legit entertaining, to an extent.
At least DSP, despite not enjoying a video game, manages to be entertaining for the wrong reasons
