Starfield - Bethesda's new space IP: will probably be full of fun and easily trackable bugs

How do you think Starfield will turn out?

If I could hit TIE Fighters with an old joystick when I was eight, modern players can certainly hit a flying space-bus with a kb+m or Xbox controller. We need to stop catering to shit players.

Yeah, went through the all-day trouble of getting my mods set up right and the difference is stark. Even the vanilla stuff is miles ahead of Starfield. Bethesda really has lost it.
We have fucking auto aim wtf is this stupid shit.

Fuck we have hitscan FUCKING TURRETS. If players are this retarded, let them use that.

not some “deep alternate dimension” shit they probably shoehorned in last minute for NG+ and so they could say “Look guys, it’s NOT aliens!! Pretty big twist eh? Did we get ya yet??”
I figured they did it to jump on the multiverse bandwagon that Marvel, DC, Star Wars, and so many other things have been going with, not realizing that the heavy dependence on "multiverse" is basically an attempt to get around the fact that their garbage is failing because they're creatively bankrupt.

This is a stretch, but I'm thinking there is going to be a Fallout/Elder Scrolls crossover DLC. The Bethesda fanbase has had an autistic obsession with Skyrim and Fallout having a crossover for years, so this would print money(especially since base game is so underwhelming). Hell, they might use other Bethesda published IPs as well, maybe even ask daddy Microsoft if they will let them make a Halo crossover DLC as well.
And before you say it's impossible, remember that Skyrim had a crossover DLC where you got a Portal character dropped into the game world for little reason. I'm thinking the seeds were already planted right there and then.

funny how Crowbcat has not released a video dunking on this game yet. RE4 demake really did buck break him.
These videos take time, especially with how much of a shitshow Starfield in particular is. I don't care how long it takes if it's as good as the Cyberpunk or Dead Rising 4 one.
I don't see why people still say that RE4 Demake did anything to him, he clearly brushed off the Capcom cultists and even mocked them with the name change of his video several times. Anyone who thinks he was actually intimidated by them is an idiot, that man's only kryptonite is pointing out he's a VR shill.

The problem is more that JA became a lazy ass streamerfaggot.
Witcher 3 video by him when?
Reminder, his Witcher 2 video came out in aug 2020! His witcher 1 video came out in april of that year.
It can't take him that fucking long to play through Witcher 3 over and over again.

It’s not that much of a stretch, I can totally see them pulling a creation club for this game after launch to avoid controversy over it. It’d make sense and answer the question of why everything has a skin section when there are only like 4 in the whole game for very specific weapons and suits. You can bet your ass though in a few months or so we’ll have “vault tech styled space undersuits” and other collaboration shit, just like Fallout 4 and 76 did.

There technically was one for Fallout 4, but it was quite small and just added a sword and helmet from Skyrim. I wouldn't put it past them to make a slightly more substantial crossover for starfield, though.

What? That's not autistic, but flat-out retarded. Autists such as myself would be able to list out the myriad of reasons why the two universes are mutually exclusive.

When I first played this game, before I realized how bland and devoid of content it was, my retarded pet theory was that starfield is actually fallout 5.

My thought process was that it played just like a reskinned fallout game, the United Colonies questline was toying with the idea that the history books were a false narrative created for political purposes, and the fallout bible where it mentioned the enclave were remnents of the elites who left the planet. Just after they nuked it because they were scared of the poor eating them once it came to light just how thoroughly they fucked everything (i.e. the resource wars). The vault experiments, when they weren't just sadistic entertainment by the nobility class, were meant to run experiments for how humans could survive in space and during the recolonization/teraforming(GECK) process.

I thought it would be pretty neat if it was revealed later in the story that the earth didn't die because of some climate change allegory, but because the elites finished getting all the data they needed from the vault experiments. They then burned the atmosphere off earth to purge it of all the rejects which were left after the original nuking so these violent, mutated freaks wouldn't someday rediscover spaceflight and spread their genetic disease across the galaxy. I.e. early space faring humans were pretty much Human Purist, and that's also why there are no aliens. They exterminated them as they colonized the galaxy.

Feeling a tad guilty about their horrific genocidal history, their lineage purged all records to substitute this brain dead backstory we all learn early on in the game. Then renamed the enclave as the United Colonies.

Fuck me for keeping any hope alive for a modern company to have something interesting to say. I won't make that mistake again.

You really think Bethesda gives a shit about the lore of either games? If it sells, they will make it and then give you some half assed lore asspull for it...if you're lucky, otherwise, Pete and the rest of the fanbase will just tell you to "grow up" because it's just a video game

@Yonjuichi
That theory makes no sense because Fallout, despite still being future sci fi, is RETRO futuristic, and everything we've seen from Starfield since the start was some generic futuristic sci-fi slop, I'm sorry "Nasa Punk". Outer Worlds is a better example of a "What If" world where Mr House found space travel due to it's retro futuristic setting, but then you would have to ignore all it's other lore that points to the world regressing from our own even before WW2, which is the point in the Fallout timeline where the universe diverges from our own.
