Was watching this new Boogie video and he goes over why he thinks his channel decline mentions how he never evolved his content and how he was in endless drama which are both true and helped with the decline but he fails to mention the main reason for his decline.

Boogie built his online persona around being this super wholesome nerdy guy who was incredibly kind and was just dealt a bad hand in life. He was the "Mr. Rogers of the internet" for years. People sympathized with his bad upbringing and obesity and rooted for him to get better. As his life improved and he became somewhat wealthy he started showing more and more of how much of a piece of shit he really was. The nice guy facade began to crack and his audience started to realize it was entirely fake. Boogie is not in any sense of the world "wholesome" he's a porn addict degenerate and pathological liar. The main appeal of his channel was now gone and people stopped watching. No one was watching Boogie for his video game hot takes they were watching for him sob stories and weight loss updates.

Knowing how Boogie spins everything to be "ME ME ME", it's probably pretty hard to edit a podcast he's in. Hard for guests to get a word in when the fat man is derailing every other sentence.

One of Boogie's many problems, as many of us have said, is he doesn't know when to shut tf up. Lots of people have passing thoughts like, "it'd be cool to do a podcast", "it'd be cool to travel to another place", "I'm gonna lose [x] pounds". The difference is most people don't tweet it out to thousands of people as if they're really going to do it.

Someone once gave me some advice that stuck with me: If you think you're going to start a project, don't tell anyone about it until you've made significant progress (or are done). Telling people every idea you have creates expectations. Those expectations make you look like a serial quitter when you inevitably don't follow through on 90% of your ephemeral plans. This especially applies to Boogie, who has potentially thousands of people expecting a dozen different projects out of him.

I find it kind of nonsensical that Clum would claim the doc was finished only to spend money paying Boogie and his girl (definitely earning an income but can leave town at the drop of a hat btw, flexible schedule) to travel to Cleveland to film more scenes.

The whole paying him thing... I can understand covering costs (ie. the filmed date, meals, whatever), but is it really still a documentary if you're paying the subject directly? It's got to at least throw it's authenticity into question a bit, no?

I wonder if it's actually something like his hotel being covered with a per diem for food and Boogie is just overstating that as 'getting paid' when it's really just 'reducing costs'. Seems a lot more likely to me, how much of a financial return do we really think Clum expects from this project? Is it just a passion project he's happy to throw money at?

I think Banworld's OP does a good job covering all the fundamental reasons why Boogie is hated, but of course it is quite out of date when you consider what's happened since 2020. Banworld and I chatted about editing the OP a while back, but he had also hit the character limit, so he couldn't add in the post I made about Boogie's fake rape stories. I wouldn't mind doing it, but at the same time I've exceeded the word limit on here from writing about individual Boogie topics alone. There is literally so much that he's done and I've got so much evidence exposing him that I'd need a bigger character limit.

Kiwifarms' format is outstanding because you can hyperlink, add images and add videos to posts to give reference points. Maybe I haven't looked hard enough, but I don't think there are many other forums, blogs or websites which would allow a limitless character limit + the ability to add as many images and videos as possible to a post.

It's a travesty that S&T was taken down and that he's spent time behind the scenes actively getting other efforts removed from the internet (The Google Doc & various other videos). This is stuff that should be common knowledge to everyone, but it isn't. The fact people to this day are still wondering why Boogie is hated is ridiculous. I would love to create a definitive post where you can simply link it to someone the same way the S&T megathread used to get passed on when someone asked.

Yeah that's Dani. There's maybe 2 or 3 pictures of these two together. And by "together", I mean exactly what you see in that picture - The two of them are present in the same picture as one another. Putting on my speculation hat but here's my guess about everything

Boogie made a lot of vids unlisted losing a shit ton of views. I expected it was in anticipation of the documentary having references to anything that made him look bad he had uploaded. He could then play the ignorant victim in that case.

However he made them all public again and for no fucking reason he's in Cleveland. He lies about being paid to be there and other shit. My guess is he got in touch with Clum to try to make sure the documentary made him look good or to fit his new narrative. So he went up there for some reshoots or whatever.

Regardless the whole thing is a shit show. Boogie lies every time he opens his mouth and for him to be in Cleveland for no reason other then Clum raises eyebrows. The messing with his views falls in line so and I expect Boogie to be attempting to pull strings hard behind the scenes.
