I can't even get .net to load. Keep getting "Unable to connect" in waterfox, and ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED in Edge. Hope my ISP isn't fucking me over...
EDIT: tracert succeeded, so I have no idea whats going on.

Huh. .Net is a thing again, I just noticed on the forum footer. And it had a different theme (pumpkin spice flavored) for like 5 seconds, too. When did .net come back? I was on a different subdomain mentioned in the footer this entire time.

Yesterday during MATI, an announcement was later posted on the telegram

Check if you haven't added kiwifarms.net to your hosts file, I had the same messages in those browsers and a soon as I # entry in hosts file it started working. Maybe IPs changed, idk.

why cant i use reaction icons (the like button)?it just says:
Oops! We ran into some problems.
You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action.

Starting to see the occasional 502 or "Page could not be loaded" more often, but refreshing resolves the problem. Is there yet another DDoS?

TOR Browser installed an update yesterday. Now refuses to connect to the TOR network.
Thought it might be blocking at the ISP level. Changed DNS and flushed the cache. Nothing.

Switched over to Brave and it connects fine.

Clearnet is running faster than most mainstream sites.

Thank you SO MUCH for reminding me that I did that. Works fine now.

Your computer DNS has zero effect on Tor, it has it's own built in.
If ever in doubt about your ISP try setting up a bridge. obfs4 to start since it is pretty quick and abundant. But if that still doesn't work try meekazure. If THAT doesn't work then you might have problems.

Be sure not to use the built in bridges since if your ISP has blocked Tor they have likely blocked the bridges that are publicly listed as Tor bridges, use fresh ones, instructions here.

I tried loading .net a few minutes ago when I restarted my browser. It took a bit, but then it loaded a web page for some tranny legal defense nonsense. Figuring .net had been compromised, I nope.avi-ed & closed the browser & changed my vpn circuit toot sweet. I checked TOR (which I'm logged into now), & all seems fine. Then I checked .net again only to find things normal.

I am not sure what happened, but just wanted to put this here.

You either mistyped the URL or have a bad host file

So the .net is throwing this up when I'm connected through Proton VPN. (routing through my home US state, or Hungary, or Czechia, or Netherlands)

What fancy little bunch of numbers do I use to complain to Proton without mentioning KF by name?

(all praise be upon our gracious and generous hosts of São Tomé and Príncipe)
