I notice Ree doesn’t have anywhere near the institutional power it did 5 or 6 years ago. I wonder the cause was harassing all the journalists off their site, or if it was realizing after that Terf Heart game they can’t do anything to you if you ignore them.

I was looking at the Bill Burr thread and they were claiming ResetEra wasn’t leftist enough which baffled me. Is wrongthink getting banned not enough - what would it take for resetera to be sufficently leftist for them? Ppl to not even be capable of having a differing viewpoint from them that would need to be banned?

That Black Rock thread is hilarious. Peak Resetera, a bunch of morons acting like they know all about game development and that the developers can just snap their fingers and add female dwarves. There's a guy in there claiming it would take ten seconds in Blender.

Is calling developers lazy still a bannable offense? Not if they're saying they won't add diversity, I guess.

This following thread is very entertaining.
A criminal spends 17 year in jail and comes back completely reformed. He now spends his time attempting to stop those that would commit the same crime and teach society how to prevent further crimes. His story sounds like a liberal's dream, a prefect example of restorative justice, and people on Resetera should be loving this person.
So what is the catch? He's a white male, and therefore this is actually just another example of white privilege. Also the guy is a school shooter that wasn't able to kill anyone, but that not the point here, you racist.

The thread actually starts sane with just a couple white-privileges mention, until a resident black posts a black tick-tocker talking about the issue, and then it devolves into your usual Reee thread.

The reason for this isn't rocket science, the white guy got out having actually used his time to reform himself and move on. You don't have a nigger doing that because niggers don't move on from their criminal acts when they go to prison. Prison is Linkedin for niggers, instead of using their time to consider how their actions effected others and better themselves, they look at it as a long networking convention.

Tell me you don't play Deep Rock without telling me you don't play Deep Rock. Black skin is a default cosmetic option, and several wacky colors like blue and green skin are available as cosmetic options you can buy with in game resources. Or, just get a helmet and pretend it's whoever you want down there.

I use some corporate marine type helmets because they remind me of Ratchet Deadlocked and I loved that game, shame I can't emulate it.
