Unlike his failed Comicsgate predecessors however, July has reinvested his profits from Isom #1 and #2 into his business and is bringing on both better writers and artists. Work by Dixon and Joe Bennett is going to be leagues above Isom (as well as the vast majority of the mainstream), and if July is able to convince Canaan White to draw interiors instead of just covers, then he'll have the beginnings of a stable of artists strong enough to overcome the weakest of writing. The low-hanging fruit isn't going to be so low for much longer.
Very interesting. Have you ever done a similar analysis of Vito the Pedo's comic?

I'll make an attempt to capture the subtle nuances of Vito's business strategy.

Beg for money without any finished product, setup an incomplete website with "lorem ipsum" placeholders, abandon your fundraising campaign and only dripfeed updates in random episodes of your unrelated podcast, pitch a TV show to Hollywood while your comic is missing its deadlines, alienate the comics industry by harassing your peers for no apparent reason, and then fall so far behind schedule that everyone drops any expectations that it'll even be completed, let alone a follow-up will be made.

Holy fucking shit.
Stop the fucking presses.
Someone actually treated his Internet shit like a business‽
Unfathomable.

bragging about his stream revenue
This is the same kind of cope lolcows like DarkSydePhil use to convince themselves people are actually super-envious of their devolving lifestyles. Yeah, all the "haters" are just mad they're not as wealthy and successful as Nick Rekieta. It's such a simple-minded understanding of the world. "It's okay that I'm not a practicing lawyer because I have so much money!" And yet here you are, hollering drunk throughout the night because of an off-hand comment about how you're not a practicing lawyer. Look what good all that money's done for you.

There's more to aspire towards in life than "getting that bag" and then becoming an unhinged retarded loser with no repercussions for their misdeeds. If anything, having that kind of wealth enables weak-willed men to return to their immature inner-selves. Money can't buy you respect, pride, dignity, honor, poise, grace, or any other admirable traits in a man. It can buy you booze and sycophants and insulate you from the consequences of your actions, but why would you want that for yourself? You'd have to be short-sighted to miss how that's a miserable, empty experience.

AbtuseKnome writes the charity and alleges fraud. Dick and Vito have admitted to knowing him. Dick then doubles down and calls the charity himself.
I don't want to be Zoom here, but I'm curious to see if that phone number July found that was linked to ObtuseGnome can be examined to see who the identity of the owner of that number is.

And this is so backhanded! It's just shitting on fucking July's comic (WITHOUT READING IT) and then going "he's a bad writer but so is everyone haha"
Yea, that hinted me on him being unhinged trying to say that he didn't like the writing because people on Twitter said they didn't like the writing (even though those same people used a comic book page that wasn't even in ISOM #1 to criticize July's comic).

Is this really simply about pure jealousy? The fact that July used the money he made doing rap metal to make a multi-million dollar comic book business, meanwhile fatass Vito can only break no more than $75K for his, and Dick and Nick have no trades or hustles whatsoever?

Because this is just obsessive at this point.
Brittany Venti disgusts me, she has the same dysgenic face as the Little Nogmaid.
She's got nice titties, though. That's her only redeeming factor.
Has Melonie Mac ever appeared on Nick's show before?
No, but Mac has appeared in the SimpCast with him.

He has always brought this up a lot in an attempt to somehow bolster his credentials as a lawyer. Sure it gives an excuse to not be a practicing and experienced lawyer, but it certainly doesn't increase your credentials.

I make more than the average lawyer in my local area. Do not hire me as a lawyer. The best my income could do for you is hire a practicing lawyer. Same as Nick.

He also likes to bring up his varied experience, like he did with Eric. "I've done charity law, I've done contract law, I've done business law, I've done criminal law" etc. Having that breadth of experience in just a short few years might sound good, but all it really means is you didn't have time to get skilled at any particular area of law. Bottom barrel non-practicing.
His channel has been brought up in this thread before, but you can compare how Nick talks about the law with how Bruce Rivers—another Minnesota practicing attorney—does in his videos. It's so obvious that Bruce knows what he's talking about and Nick doesn't just by contrasting their poise, knowledge recall, anecdotal experiences, and the way they explain laws and then apply those laws to facts.

Varied experience over a small number of years of running a practice in a small town is a necessity, not a merit. In his little town, there's only going to be a few avenues of regular legal business—basic criminal defense, traffic citations, family law, some trusts/estates practice, and some basic commercial drafting. The weird thing about the legal field that a lot of normies don't realize is that the more "prestigious" the legal job is, the less varied your experience and the less applicable to the problems normies face. It's a staid joke among elite law school grads that they might be able to deal with registering debt securities or protecting corporate boards from activist takeovers at annual shareholder meetings, but they couldn't help a friend out with a traffic ticket.

Nick clapping himself on the back for knowing how the terms of a commercial lease look is not really that impressive when any retard with a law degree can find commercial lease contract templates on Westlaw with annotations explaining how to properly copy/paste clauses for your clients' specific needs. His whole shtick was never that he was a knowledgable practicing attorney, it was that he could access legal filings and translate them into common parlance for normies. It exudes narcissism for him to think otherwise, and I think a lot of his downfall can be traced to that misunderstanding of what made his content meaningful.

I don't know where Nick (and now Drexel) got this whole "we were all good! we settled things!" idea. Nick and Eric literally argue until Eric leaves the stream. What, just because he said you're more objective than he thought and you let him plug his book everything's cool now?

That's what having an alcoholic coombrain will get you.

I'm curious to see if that phone number July found that was linked to ObtuseGnome can be examined to see who the identity of the owner of that number is.
You could almost definitely get that information from the service provider with a subpeona if it's tied to their name. It'll be more difficult (if not impossible) if it's a prepaid burner phone. Chances are the owner of that email was a smug, fat retard who didn't bother getting a burner phone because they assumed "what happens in the gay ops stays in the gay ops."

Unless they used a VPN every time they accessed that ObtuseGnome email or sent an email from it, their IP address will be logged with the emails sent to the charity and the International School of Ministry. Deleting the email account like they did will not prevent this either. Acerthorn (or another litigious lolcow) used a subpeona to Gmail to uncover the identity of a troll who'd been "anonymously emailing" him. I'd imagine Eric July's lawyers can pull that off too.

If Nick prepped the ground for this better he would have had cover to delete the stream. He didn't. His apology was basically "sorry if you were offended" and saying that he was right but his tone was too far. If he gave a real apology which concluded by "...and because of that I'm taking down the stream." I think it could have played well for him, if anything. This doesn't play well. It plays like he is feeling the heat and is trying to hide from criticism. It adds fuel to the fire. Nick really ought to be able to understand that. The question is why he did it.
  • Did his wife see the first clip go up on Elissa's channel, realize Nick made a fool of himself, and screamed at him to take it down?
  • Did Rumble see that their talent had called a prominent right-leaning black creator a racial slur? If they did, I definitely would see why they would want to tell him to get it the fuck off their website.
  • The other possibility is that Nick got drunk last night and in his haze he thought that if he deleted the stream all his problems would go away.
The first two are possible, but I doubt very much the third one. The thing with Nick is he's an arrogant asshole who is convinced he's Jesus and can never do anything wrong. I doubt very much he'd unilaterally come to the conclusion he fucked up. Even when drunk.

Another possibility is that Dick advised him to take it down. Either because even he knows Rekieta was completely off his rocker, or he's concerned about admitting that he's fucking with July's business.

As to the first reason, people have pointed out that it seems like Dick was trying to save Nick at points. Remember that Dick is California thru-and-thru, and he's running his grift as some sort of anti-anti-SJW thing against an anti-SJW comic. With that in mind, I'm not sure it's a good idea to have this thing against July be connected to a lawyer (non-practicing) who did blackface screaming all sorts of racist shit while drunk off his ass. I don't think it fits with the aesthetic Dick is going for in griefing the black comic book guy. In fact, Nick's stream is probably gonna engender some sympathy for July.

The very end they both said that it's all good right? I think because they were both being disingenuous and pretending it wasn't two hostile parties, one attacking while pretending not to, the other defending while pretending to just talk to a friend. Nobody in their right mind believes that last sentence, obviously it wasn't good. Pretending it was is just again being disingenuous.

I have a 1080p version, but I am out and about. I will downstate to 360p and post later. Hopefully that will bring it under 700 Mb.
That would be awesome. There is some fantastic cringe from about 6h27m to about 6h43m that I think people would enjoy.

In the ~15min clip I've referenced, there are some gems such as when an extremely drunk and slurry Rekieta talks about how "he doesn't care about the money" and that he'd be doing this even if he had no money and no one was watching.

FYI I'm referring to this Rekieta stream which was privated since the last time I watched it.
