I'm almost completely out of the loop on this so my question is, WTF is Dick and Nick's problem with this Eric guy?
Nothing confirmable, but:
Dax likely hates him because he saw that Eric started up a comic that was projected to do well, and Eric wouldn't go on his show for Dax to leech audience off of. Compound this with Dax and Vito most definitely being jealous that a black man is making money on a product that they think is trash compared to their high art.

Nick because Dax and Vito hate him, and he's a fence sitting faggot that wants to be friends with everyone up until his coomer tendencies become an issue, then he just acts like a colossal faggot until the other party tells him to fuck right off.

So here’s something I don’t get. Why are people acting like ChatGPT is reliable for their info?

I'm curious as to how it began. Did Dick start this beef on Twitter or his stream? Also, this seems very one-sided to me, I haven't looked into this Eric dude but he seems like some random guy. I might be wrong on that.

Nick being involved is just weird, I get that he doesn't want to piss off Dick but getting into this just makes you look like a jack ass. Really weird that a "lawyer" would get involved in this.

Iirc, part of it started because Dick said the comic was shit and Eric called him out on it because he hadn't even read it.

So how did Vito get roped into this? Because in my mind, Vito and Eric’s audiences aren’t even in the same zip code.
Vito is also making a comic called Superkiller or Superkilla, I forget how it's spelled. The theory is that Vito is jealous of Eric's success. Either that, or it was an attempt to draw attention to his comic.

My tax law is a little rusty, but I'm pretty sure this bar on deductibility applies when those costs aren't already built into the fair market value of the item. If it costs me $3 to make, transport, and market an item that I sell for $6, I can deduct charitable contributions of the full fair market value ($6) of that item. That will include the overhead built into the fair market value of the item. But I can't deduct the separate cost of gasoline for driving that item to a charity to be donated.

I just don't get why being an asshole to some random guy is funny. Sure if he was reacting in an entertaining way I could get it but Eric seems to be fairly measured to me. The whole thing just comes across as a desperate attempt for attention, like a kid bullying a girl he has a crush on. Is anyone on the Dick side even laughing at this?

It's honestly cringe as fuck and the fact that Dick thinks being a psycho is both funny and makes him look cool just speaks to how much of an immature cunt he is. It's like he hasn't learned a thing from this site when it comes to trolling. On the off chance you're reading this Dick I'll spell it out for you. The moment you start to fuck with a guy because you want to see him out on the street because "it's funny!", then you've crossed a line. It's not about ethics in trolling or anything gay like that, it's just about not being a total retard. Right now you just suck, every "witty" post or scathing comment comes across like a seething jack ass desperately trying to own some guy.

I've said it before but every time someone tries to manufacture the next Chris Chan, or in this case I suppose the next Maddox is more appropriate, they become the biggest faggot in the world. That's what this feels like to me.

Uhh, Vito made $75k on his comic and makes fun of a guy who's made millions off of his instead of putting out the product he was paid $75k for. He is certainly not a fat, mad pedophile!

If I was a Dick fan I guess I'm supposed to believe Dick is such a master troll playing 4D chess that its all act and he's not really a malding faggot trying to seriously use ChatGPT to score internet points over the intricacies of charity tax law.

It also doesn't make a lot of sense. Isn't the charity thing they are up in arms about that people could purchase comics and have them sent to the charity?

The entire point is that the customer is paying the cost for the comic and paying the cost to send it to the charity. I don't see where there would be tax deduction. Did July say he was going to use any of this as a tax deduction? That sounds ludicrous.

Jesus, these two really just devoted an entire Biggest Problem to seething at this guy. And I really love how much Juju tried to invoke racism and pretend Eric July was speaking incoherent niggerish during the Rekeita interview, when he's actually been way more composed the entire time.

Eric is to Dick and Vito what Clarence Thomas is to white liberals, in that after a while they're going to get so angry and run out of things to say that they're just going to start saying nigger.

You know, maybe Dick and Vito are on to something. Maybe all publicity is good publicity. Because for the past four months, I have heard nothing but ISOM and Rippaverse and Eric July, entirely as a result of them giving it constant exposure. Meanwhile, most people probably don't even know the name of Vito's comic. So unless Dick is treating Vito's shitty comic as some kind of loss leader that makes no money but draws attention to their podcasts, if the goal was to try and hurt Eric July's business all it's really done is just made people like me more curious to figure out what the fuck this comic book is even about that's causing these two LA retards to keep talking about it.
Superkiller is the name of a character made by someone who never read Wanted, but felt like copying Invincible.
