To be fair, people see her completely horrendous photos and jump to conclusions. You know that people react more to images than to big texts.
I'm not saying that her whiteknights are right, because its obvious they aren't. And Ashley doesn't deserve pity/compassion. But people like to discuss. If someone new to the thread asks some 'obvious' thing, what we can do?
Threads are for discussion, with different opinions. If not, theres no motive for her having a thread here.

This thread is a vicious cycle. Like once a month someone discovers Ashley, then decides not to read the o.p explaining how she is a cunt. They white knight, new people see the bumped post and then they also don't bother to read shit and start having a pity party. Then someone who actually has read this thread sees it bumped and assumes she's finally croaked.

On an unrelated note how does Ashley still have relatively okay teeth? Usually people who binge and purge have awful teeth and halitosis because the stomach acid rots away the enamel. Does she brush her teeth after purging?

She could be wearing what is called a californian/model mouth guard. Which is cheap mouthgaurds that longterm bulimic suffers use to protect their teeth. Eventually their teeth get fucked anyways but it can delay issues (at least from acid). Malnutrition will fuck it up to though. Maybe she has veneers?

Please stop pitying her and worrying about her family. If she genuinely wanted or cared about help, she would have already gotten it years ago. It's not just her "disease", it's a part of her personality. People who have sympathy for others would not sit idly by and torture their family and friends the way she does even if they did have severe anorexia. Her "recovery" is just a farce for asspats. She preys on young girls and attempts to make THEM anorexic. Seriously, there is nothing to pity here. All the white knighting in the world is not gonna make her a better person.

Even if by some fuckin miracle she is committed by some intervention into a halfway house I don't see it working for her. Her mother is clearly codependent with their lifestyle, she probably would fight her going. Then I can imagine even if she goes and talks out all her problems with a therapist, Ashley above all else loves the attention. She'd maybe gain two pounds and live out the rest of her life with therapists being one of those nasty girls who compete with the others on who can recover the least. She's a nasty piece of work and sadly I think this is the life she will always choose for herself. Being committed will just slightly change how she plays her game. Anorexia isn't like drug use, you can't beg her to try cut her cold turkey and then go "Well don't you feel better?" She'll always struggle with it, especially with her BPD, a lot of anorexics love the attention on top of feeling like they deserve it. Its a terrible mindset to try to cure.

I wouldn't be surprised if her mouth was full of cavities and her breath smelled like death.
Hell I wouldn't be surprised if she was losing teeth already. At the very least her mouth probably has sores that never heal and her throat and esophagus is probably permanently scarred. In fact she might already just have dentures, but I can't imagine SSI and her mom's salary really mean she can afford dental.

People with EDs are masters of lies and manipulations. They lie constantly to get out of eating or to manipulate people into thinking they're ok. An ED is a shameful disease for most people that needs to be hidden. I'm sure Ashley hid hers for a while just like most people do. Just because she's sick enough to starve herself doesn't mean she can't also be sick enough to manipulate people around her.

Imho, thats the danger. She sounds/looks mentally unstable, and at some extent she really is, but she have the mental faculties for manipulating young vulnerable girls.

She has to want help to get it. Even if she was being monitored for the rest of her life, 24/7, she would find a way to not eat or to purge. People with eating disorders are clever and resourceful in that regard. There are a LOT of tricks for getting around things.

So stop saying she needs to be involuntarily committed, it won't make an ounce of difference.
