Special rules for the Destiny thread.

If I had to guess, he is basically willing to swallow his pride to get funding for his canvassing shit. Which, to be fair, he deserves because he has fronted a lot of money himself in the past for it. If that means putting up with people he hates, he's still willing to do it to get more mainstream credit for his real-life activism.
Mainstream cred comes with stipulations (like not being recorded saying "at this point if a bunch of red neck militias wanna mow down dipshit protestors who are burning down shit at 12 am, then at this point they have my fucking blessing" - based take from him regarding the blm rioting that got him departnered from twitch, that Vaush signal boosted btw) and having a media protection racket that keeps your image safe (I.e. making sure that certain stories and narratives about yourself never see the light of day in order to stay "squeaky clean"). And I dunno if our little sperg would be able to avoid the deluge of accusations by left leaning outlets who would start to look into him if he did break into the "mainstream" (he got that fucking mayor he canvassed in omaha loose the race because people started to look into Destiny and found some choice clips of him saying the N word or some shit and that caused the progs in the town to completely disregard him and call his canvassers harassers)

At best he'll stay where he is on his own side of the streaming world surrounded by the highly liberal/progressive audience he's managed to cultivate while still attempting to follow the strategy he has been doing for the last couple of years of attempting to enter right wing spaces in order to "de-convert" members of their audience to see things his way, just expect a slightly higher uptick of him live streaming canvassing shit in more areas as we get closer to the election.

It's hard to predict where all this shit will go in the next year or so, but I'm gonna guess that if it gets more and more likely that another Trump ticket is in-evitable for the republican party and he becomes the nominee again, Destiny will drop all of his "issues" with other lefty streamers like Vaush he's had in the past in order to form whatever gay ass "United Online Progressive Coalition" to fight against the encroaching "Facist takeover" another Trump presidency would bring in his eyes.

If that happens, I'd bet good money that it would catastrophically fall apart the moment they decide to stop playing nice and accuse each other of "bad optics" or "shit strategies" for trying to get their movement mobilised in the face of a general audience (I.e. Destiny might shit talk Vaush for saying that "The current Maga base is no different from the rising Nazi party in the 1930s and are gonna genocide trans people" and Vaush would shit talk Destiny for attempting "to appease Nazis" by going on right wing platforms and shows to engage with them directly and agree on some of their points instead of just insulting and shit talking them behind his camera at home like a faggot).

Nothing like an election season to make these political streamimg dipshits to totally forget all their "moral stances" and hatred against each other to "work together for the greater good", making it clear to anyone with more than two brain cells that the beef between them was never about "principles" and simply their overinflated egos.

What the fuck is this posture?
The picture looks like someone tried to readjust the dimensions of him in MSPaint irl.

What kills me is this this manlet is loaded by most standards and could have easily afforded going to a proper men's fashion store and paying for a fitting/outfit that didn't make him look like Dad is dragging his slovenly ass to church. Who knows, maybe he did get some custom shit but his posture, squinting, and inability to do a tie properly just erased all that poor tailor's efforts.

He could, but didn't. Those pants have no crease and am willing to bet they're not tailored properly. He probably went to his closet, picked out a pair of pants from his restaurant manager days, and put them on. His collared shirt isn't even ironed; I'm not saying it needs to have creases, but get those fucking wrinkles out. Sure Vaush has the casual college professor look going on; but if you're gonna do slacks, shirt, and tie; put some fucking effort in, even Vash got his pants to hang properly.

Shirt is at least a size too big, which is most apparent in the cuffs being too long. Belt is either too loose, or the pants aren't tailored correctly and his flab is poking the belt out. Tie is too basic to be fashionable without a jacket. Tie knot isn't tied or fitted properly. Tie is laughably too short—a separate issue from the knot being tied right,. Pants are too long, and a poor color to wear without a jacket since it's too formal of a design.

No way he paid more than $120 for the whole outfit, much less got it tailored. He looks like a cross between a 13 year old going to a bar mitzvah and a Midtown banking intern who left his jacket in the office while going for lunch. I'm more traditional and so I don't even find Vaush's outfit very appropriate, personally, but it's leagues ahead of what Destiny did here. The dude lives in Miami but you'd never be able to tell, since he hasn't picked up a single inkling of fashionability from his surrounds.

A guy who demands multiple studies to even broach the idea that it's unhealthy for guys to cut off their dicks to deal with mental illness and porn addiction can't even be bothered to look up "how to tie a windsor knot" on Google.

Lol, you know you have terrible dressing sense when you can make Vaush look presentable:

Christ, I cannot get over how fucking square that Destiny's shirt looks. If he wore a black shirt that were a size smaller and lost the tie, any other flaws in his wardrobe would be excusable. He's looks like a deadbeat alcoholic that woke up late with a hangover one morning and had to rush to get to work.

Destiny can't help but make the most retarded baits. Nobody can say for sure if cigar smoking is what killed Rush Limbaugh. But you can say for sure that policies that makes it easier for random niggers to assault, kill and get away with it will increase the likelihood of these things happening. Also it's a weird joke considering all the risky behaviors he takes when he shoves all kinds of drugs up his ass and lets his wife fuck random strangers.

Despite doing an event with him just last week, Destiny is once again burning the bridge with Vaush (for real this time, you guys, I promise!) because he called his subreddit "Kiwifarms 2.0". Listening to him seethe about it on stream right now, just after he did a segment on JFG clearly ripped from the farms.

'The manlet is immunized against all dangers: one may call him a faggot, cuck, contrarian, incest supporter, it all runs off him like water off a raincoat. But call him a Kiwifarmer and you will be astonished at how he recoils, how injured he is, how he suddenly shrinks back: “I’ve been found out.”'

I'm confused, is he insinuating that Vaush got the idea that this site "makes people kill themselves" from his own Vaush manifesto video/document or other videos in which he discussed the site, like he's the main reason why that narrative has perpetuated online?

How much of an ego does this faggot have? Give some credit to all the triggered trannies and soyfags that have come before you, you fucking gremlin!!

This video is impossible to watch for me, he just starts talking about how he's almost always humble (he's not) then starts sucking himself off really hard because he works so hard and he's doing such amazing work and he's such an important person. I don't even know how much of this video is actually about Vaush but I think it's funny destiny feels like he "has to respond" as if Vaush has a gun to his head and Destiny has to say I didn't do it guys trust me, only about 5 years until this man is 40 years old btw.

Any man that has to constantly say "I'm so humble, look at how nice I am, and how important I am to this space, why wont these assholes aknowledge it!" is a try hard and is trying to hide some deep seated psychological issues. Pretty much a "No true king screams they are king" situation from Game of Throne (A la Tywin Lannister).

I'll admit, I was totally wrong in my assessment. Guess Tiny won't agree to work Vaush due to very simple fact that Vaush won't suck him off and apologize to him for all the bullshit he has expressed against him.

Usually I'd say "Good for you for having some backbone", but the way he phrases it in the video makes it seem that he wants these people to grovel at his feet and acknowledge him as the "leading figure for canvassing and mobilisation in this space as the largest contributor" more than them apologizing to him for how they fucked up their interactions and screwed him over (nausiatingly narcissistic).

You are indeed confused. Destiny doesn't think the suicides should be laid at the feet of the Farms. He said the "narrative that was driven on the internet" in the sentence before the ones you quoted.

The only reason Destiny gets any of his disgusting fans to "canvass" is because he paid for their flights, hotel rooms, and food. So it is basically a free vacation where they can meet their favorite degenerate streamer friend. I guarantee if none of the above was on the table, they'd never leave their parent's house.

He started advertising for "canvassers" on his subreddit a few months back offering $500/month for 40 hour work weeks. Literal slave labor.

Indeed estimate for comparison:

Destiny talking about manbunpig and veering off into self-masturbatory ramblings.
I think this video is unintentionally really funny. The core of Destiny's message is that Vaush is a lazy, spiteful loser who's done nothing but take snipes at Destiny and misrepresent him for the better part of three years at this point. And for that reason, he doesn't want to be involved in actual political work that includes Vaush, unless Vaush makes a really big, good faith effort to show that he's willing to put this shit to bed and that he actually gives a fuck. I think that's completely fair, Vaush is a retarded faggot who plays the optics game to his has fans constantly whenever another content creator is involved. I absolutely believe Destiny when he says Vaush is just a leech who wants to latch on to this political movement and get credit for being a part of it, despite contributing nothing but verbose platitudes, autism and fart sniffing.

So why not just say that? Why does he go on this massive spiel about how underappreciated he is and how hard he is on himself and mistakes he's made in the past??? Nigger just say Vaush is a faggot, you don't like him, and it'll be a cold day in hell before you let him leech MORE clout off of you, it's that simple.

Canvassing isn't even particularly effective, especially if its small scale. This Italian study from 2014 shows that out of 26,352 people that were visited during a municipal election, canvassing increased turnout by 1.8% (2.4% increase rate over the group that wasn't canvassed) and didn't really have an effect on the candidates people chose (really only affecting turnout). A massive 80000 person effort during a 2012 French election did increase turnout by 3.2% and 2.8% during the first and second rounds of an election but this was speculated to be due to the novelty of political outreach (people actually having political actors reach out to them) and it was a giant effort.

I seriously doubt Destiny's attempt will be anywhere near the size of that effort, probably would be lucky to get 800 people onboard (which at $500/month would cost $400,000 just for the slave labor). Destiny wants to give people food and board for months in 6 locations and I think said he was willing to spend up to $500,000 if someone else doesn't help fund it. It just feels absurdly ambitious with no possible way of delivering appreciable results unless the elections the canvas groups are involved in are on razor-thin margins. Given recent polarization, entrenchment, and the politization of everything I would bet that a similar effort would have a much smaller effect than studies from 10 years ago, especially as the novelty of political outreach becomes more and more exhausting. If Destiny's canvassing efforts are placed in areas that have a lot of political activism then that novelty theory would result in less turnout, in addition to effectively targeting areas that are more likely to vote for a particular candidate that have low turnout.

Canvassing is more effective than phonecalls (which are supposed to be worthless) and is slightly more effective than mail, but (frighteningly) most of the turnout and political news in recent years has been from social media campaigns and targeted ads. Tiktok was considered to be the major source of political news for youth in 2022.
