Chemical engineering was the only branch that TPTB had any success with all of their "Women in Engineering" initiatives of adding any appreciable # of women to their ranks.

Not sure if it was related to the subject matter, or less focus on math and physics, or somehow a less arduous program. But the narrative checked out because the only female flesh&blood engineering students I ever met personally were always predictably Chem Eng.

That is surprising to me because ChemE is notorious for being one of, if not the most difficult engineering major. You have the hard math from Physics, you have to take very difficult chemistry classes, many of which require immense amounts of memorization (like organic chemistry), you have electrical classes you have to take as well, and that on top of normal engineering classes like heat transfer, fluids, and thermo. Junior years are usually incredibly difficult, as you can get single semesters that have Differential Equations, Organic Chemistry 2, Thermo 2, and Chemistry 2-3.

If I had to guess, the reason is that most of the smart women that would normally go into physics or math, get pushed into chemical, because you can make far more money with just an undergrad degree compared to physics or math.

No, it's because the ChemE contains the subdiscipline of environmental engineering and that's popular right now and appeals more to the "people over things" nature of women. Generally engineering disciplines require top two or three percentile of "things over people" personalities to not hate your life and actually finish the degree. The slight skew towards men in that area at the average get's completely dominant towards the high end. Even a little appeal towards "and you can help people and the earth" goes a long way.
The big 4 engineering disciplines look seem to stack up in increasing order of women Electrical (guessing, those guys hide in a hole through college, I think.) -> Mechanical -> Civil -> Chemical

The facts are:

• Wasted his first go at collage on a useless liberal arts degree
• Spent the rest of his 20s breeding and being a retail worker for Wells Fargo as the best position he got as an employee.
• Only went back to school for his law degree on his 30's.
• Still somehow managed to have 5 kids, all home schooled, a big house, vacations, and art auctions, by the time he started on youtube, all on single a bank teller income.
• Does come from a rich family regardless of whether he actually has a trust fund or not.

So, because the only thing he mentions is the trust fund, and everything else gets swept under the rug, i do believe he does not have a trust fund, i also fully believe his parents and grand parents basically had Nick and his family on an allowance, because that's just what you do for your grand kids and great grand kids.

Regardless of how much they approved or disapproved of Nick's life choices, the rest of the family would surely not stand to have all the little ones living in the Ronny Ralph style crack house that Nick could afford after feeding them.

It's also probably why mid-life crisis hit him so hard when he got big online, first time in his entire life he had money without the scrutiny of his parents going "You know, I gave you that money for rent and dentist for the kids, not for $300 bottles of whisky".

Stepping back and looking at the whole thing, he hasn't even really gone super scorched earth on Null (yet). Not really, anyways. You would think the Null domino would fall before Sean. One guy was even claiming several times that the clips that Null was playing (from this thread) were edited to make Nick look bad and were taken out of context (where have I heard that before?).
